Further to recent announcements encouraging all employees to work from home where possible, the Students’ Union is moving all its services online and our offices will now be closed.
We understand this is a very difficult time and we are all having to adapt to the changing
There is a STARS Criteria that means a club has to collaborate with a society and visa versa to ensure that bridge is crossed 💪🏼 #SurreyDecides
If VP Activity has any close connections with a club or society they can pass the concerns/needs over to our amazing full time staff if they believe there will be a conflict ❤️ #SurreyDecides
Crazy thinking someone up there will be taking over this twitter account next year, so many amazing candidates, let’s see what they can do with Activity 💙💛 #SurreyDecides
First Aid training was offered to all societies this year however it’s expensive training and needs to be done over 3 hours so we did as much as we can 💪🏼 #SurreyDecides
All club & society tour leaders will have to attend Mental Health in sport training before they head away on Tour this year 🙋🏼♀️ #SurreyDecides
#SurreyDecides SnackWatch has been taken to a whole new level, this is why I love my zonees ❤️
We always encourage clubs & societies to attend Union Ball as this is a HUGE event run by the Union 💗 If they can fund their own ball, we will of course support, however we encourage them to attend Union Ball 💫 #SurreyDecides
Signatories have training at the AMM which will equip them with the basis relevant skills, more in depth training is left until October due to the new handover of officers not happening until July 😊 #SurreyDecides
Huge shoutout to my zonees who have completely taken control of the Surrey Socs Instagram this year 💪🏼 #SurreyDecides
Paul the Pug lives down in the Sabb Office with all our VP Activity teddies 😍 #SurreyDecides
We have development meetings with our sports clubs & societies however it’s an interesting take on having more monitoring on committee members 💫 #SurreyDecides
Society showcase is such an opportunity for societies but isn’t engaged with, if someone can make this happen, please do 😍 #SurreyDecides
Both candidates have been really engaged with the Union this year so exciting what they will bring to the stage 🤩 #SurreyDecides
Activity works alongside so many different zones, I have worked really closely with @ussusupport this year which has been amazing ❤️ #SurreyDecides
Totally agree with Brendan, hearing students say that they cannot afford to play sport is something we’ve always wanted to change 💪🏼 #SurreyDecides
