Thread:
Good evening Mavs! Since Sunday, April 19th was Bicycle Day, our Enforcement Committee wanted to reach out to you guys about the importance of bike safety, especially bike lane safety around campus. Due to COVID-19, our projects to bring awareness had to be postponed.
This will help prove that the bike lane is not as safe as it is supposed to be. This will help us demonstrate to our UT Arlington’s authorities that we need some changes! Our committee will postpone this project for the fall semester.
For now, since we cannot do any activities around campus, our goal is to at least reach out to you guys to bring awareness. Please help us in the future to make a change. We care about you and your safety! Go Mavs!! #UTA #BikeSafety #BikeCommunity #RedCupProject #Mavs 🚴🏻♀️
