Kept thinking on the plane about how Hart gets more and more disheveled after starting out so cavalier and put together. And Emil just towering there, sometimes comforting him, sometimes looking down in judgment. The interplay of contrasts and levels really stayed with me. ♥️

So ends Great Divadlo Weekend! Dear Emil was tender, frenetic, moving. No prior poetry knowledge needed - the gradual presence of memory-Emil as the solid rock Hart revolves around and ultimately smashes himself upon was enough. Beautifully written, directed and acted. Love. 💔

Studio 32 can't be crossed off my bucket list because I gotta go again! Fantastic night of cemetery meet-cutes and musicals about legs on fire. And a great chat with Marc and Jim afterwards about greenhouse peppers and the south coast ⛴️
