I am saddened by the shooting at @BrownUniversity, especially since this happened in a review session for the most popular course in the Economics department (Principles of Economics). But I also want to highlight two sets of heroes, all undergraduates.

Here are the huge earnings reductions from parental leave. A little more parental leave leads to a lot of moms dropping out. Author interprets this as mom’s really valuing benefits.
Alt interpretation: after a longer leave moms find it harder to come back

(n/n) @ITAAirways
Had a fantastic time presenting at the public economics seminar at @ECONMunich today! Thanks @m_paffenholz for the invitation! And the snow made it even better ❄️
