This turns a commission into character design, expect to pay more. Not everyone has an image of their OC but that just means they need to pay for that too. From a character designer.

Hot take but if you can’t/wont draw from a text description you need to learn. Not everyone has image of their oc, they might be commissioning for the very first time or wanting you to design them an oc out of their description. Text references are equally as important as images

IF U LIKE THIS #ART PLS SHARE!! I'm a dental student in Gaza🇵🇸, providing free treatment to patients at my university clinic but between tuition and supplies, the costs pile up quickly. If you'd like to support, even a little goes a long way..🦷 ko-fi.com/dentistlayla

my general tip to beginner artist is to go all out and draw that impossible angle or pose you want to draw no matter how horrible the result turns out so you can redraw it a few years after and sees the progress you’ve made. and keep aaall your art! you have to go back to it!

When someone makes a fanart for me I cannot see it clearly because it’s blurred from my tears

making fanart for an artist who's leagues better than you so you have to make sure it's PERFECT because they'll be internally grading it in their head checking for rendering, posing, anatomy & color choices
