Man I really do miss the days when we were just a random adventurer getting pulled into random shit. The whole champion/savior of Azeroth stuff is growing old. I understand we’ve done a LOT at this point but it’s weird constantly being the main character in every situation.
So like.. maybe Harandar can just catch on fire and we can all turn a blind eye like the Haranir did with Teldrassil? Since they want everyone to be friends now without fully understanding the amount of shit that the rest of us have been through?
Watch the last titan be some shit like “none of this was real. Everything in the history of Azeroth and beyond was a lie. It was all a grand conspiracy.”
I will always love WoW and what it used to be, but honestly at this point I’m just tired caring and constantly being disappointed. Blizzard will continue to tell the stories they want to tell and make decisions they want with complete disregard to the players. Not even just lore.
The current story and lore decisions are a pathetic disaster, shop items are out of control, quality of the game has been a declining mess, and despite it all, they say “it’s okay, everything is going well.”
