New research by @CespedesMontse and @Romero_Ferraro identifies a previously unrecognised therapeutic vulnerability in malignant rhabdoid tumours by targeting epigenetic regulation and autophagy.
The study uncovers biological mechanisms that are relevant to a broad range of malignancies, including haematological cancers, helping identify new opportunities for targeted therapies.

🏅 Dr Alessandro Ianni, postdoctoral researcher in @vaquerolab, has received the prestigious Junior Leader Postdoctoral fellowship from @FundlaCaixa.
🔬 He will advance research on molecular mechanisms driving Acute Myeloid Leukemia, focusing on nucleophosmin 1 (NPM1), frequently mutated in AML.
