not long ago, it was just a few of us who believed mind sports could go mainstream. most people called it niche.
last month, 2.2M people played 48M brain games on Matiks. they could’ve kept scrolling, and they didn’t.
our longest streak has crossed 689 days. players run google meets to coach each other. one called us “the cure to my doomscrolling” and we still aren’t over it.

what’s next:

One thing we were def worried abt while picking our top dawg colorway being this triple white - was how dirty it would get in India. I hate the ideology of thinking around these practicalities but it is what it is. Lucky to report I quite like the look after these getting super beaten up, washed multiple times, etc etc

We launched Built - with the goal to build a high quality performance footwear brand for the world - with two styles.
1. A Natural Movement Shoe(NMS, barefoot shoe - main model)
2. A court shoe (multi purpose - mostly padel targeted)
90 days in : VERY exciting signals.
- We’ve gone from 0 to ~60 shoes a day
- managed to scale perf spends while holding ROAS with high speed iterations and wide experiments
- the FANCY crowd is now finding our court shoe cool - which is just ₹4,500/- biggest challenge we foretold was getting this crowd to find a relatively cheap shoe COOL (but it’s working out 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼)
- the hero product(NMS) which the brand is supposed to be based on - is holding roughly 60% of all sales ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Net net ridiculously excited. Developing a few more exciting things that will be out soon. Next big milestone is crossing 100 shoes a day. Can’t WAIT.
