With all that said, what a terrific Oscars it’s been. We’ve been having tough ceremonies and even in good years like last year, there were still some wins that pissed me off. Complete turnaround this year and one of the BEST ONES YET!!!! CONGRATS TO EVERYONE! #Oscars
I don’t know what’s more likely to happen. Wildwood being the fourth animated film nominated for Best Picture or You Can See Everything being the first documentary to do so. I know realistically, only one of these can happen, but come on, why can’t we have both?
Every year, 2/3 TIFF winners become Best Picture nominees. With La Bola Negra securing its spot, I think Being Heumann could be the next in line. Especially since Sian Heder and her team have more nomination prospects in their disposal than I Play Rocky. Mark Ruffalo maybe? 👀
LOVE THE CHALLENGE! Looks amazing and truly captures each show’s respective art styles!
Would love to see a part 2 of this with other shows! Tangled, The Owl House, The Ghost and Molly McGee and DuckTales, just to name a few.
“Let It Go” is forever impactful due to the immeasurable, show stopping ballad Elsa sings to further grow her character as the narrative push alongs. “Golden” for as unfairly popular as it is, will NEVER reach that incredible storytelling in my eyes. Sorry not sorry.
I’m not predicting Inde Navarette to win yet, but if she actually manages to dethrone Juliane Moore, I think she’d make a much bigger impression (at least to me). Mainly because Obsession is not going to sweep the way Anora did, which is what greatly benefited Mikey Madison.

Por otro lado, Mickey Madison gana el Oscar y de inmediato viene Disney a ofrecerle Star Wars. Ella lo rechaza: no es el cine que quiere hacer.
Y yo celebro esa decisión.
They were definitely on the right track wanting to pair Dipper with Pacifica. Since he can actually connect to someone his age. However, I feel like they never went the full mile past this episode. Had the two been built earlier and further, a lovely romance could’ve bloomed.
Lilith and Ford get a pass for me. They are just as memorable as their siblings. Same for Don.
Roger and Olga however……………they can screw off. Doof and Helga deserved SO MUCH better.
Never seen Friendship is Magic, so IDK.
Most people are gonna say Ariana Grande or Felicity Jones (rightfully so), but my personal pick would be Monica Barbaro. Her performance as Joan Baez was the MVP of A Complete Unknown. But honestly, any one of these 4 other lovely ladies would’ve been better over Zoe Saldaña.
Spain, you guys did it. YOU ACTUALLY DID IT! You dethroned Argentina and claimed that second title. I’m so happy! and so is Javier Bardem. Congrats on being once again, THE CHAMPIONS OF THE WORLD!!!! #Spain #VamosEspaña #WorldCup

FIFA rigging the World Cup for Messi is the sports equivalent of the Oscars rigging Best Actress for Frances McDormand. The epitome of favoring and protecting their “Golden Child.” Egypt was indeed robbed out of that third goal and win. #JusticeforEgypt #Egypt #WorldCup

I thought Amy Madigan would lose because Weapons was not as strong as Sinners or One Battle. I thought Paraguay would for sure lose to Germany because of the latter’s strong performance over the years. Both wins, I was proven wrong. Great year for surprising upsets! #Paraguay
I’ll always be a fan of MJ as a musician, but quite frankly, his film is one of the most SAFE, GENERIC, and BLAND biopics I’ve EVER seen! This slop had NO RIGHT to beat the true and stunning masterpiece that is Oppenheimer as the highest grossing. What have we come to? 😢😒
I’ve seen enough. Give Julianne Moore that second Oscar.
While we’re at it, let’s also give Paul Giamatti his much overdue flowers.
This is quite possibly the WORST and most DEVASTATING passing I’ve heard all year, and probably, in my lifetime. Daveigh Chase was an incredible talent taken away from us far too soon. She deserved to live another 50 years. Sending prayers to Chase and her family. #RestInPeace
