New videos show Ukraine’s cruise missiles slamming into the Proton military plant in Oryol, Russia on Friday.
The plant produces optoelectronic and electronic components used in Russian missile systems, including inverter switches for 9M723 Iskander-M ballistic missiles, diode modules for S-71 “Kover” air-launched cruise missiles and parts for Pantsir-S1 air defense systems.
The cruise missile attack was on important strike meant to disrupt Russia’s military production chain.
The plant is located 170 km from the border with Ukraine

Melania Busted: A Shameless Attempt to Steal Credit from a Ailing Pope
In a repulsive new low even for the Trumps, Melania Trump ignited a well-deserved firestorm Friday after her pathologically dishonest husband and his regime had the audacity to credit her with single-handedly securing a ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine in the city of Oleshky.
The grotesque claim was instantly blasted by critics who called out the regime for trying to hijack credit from Pope Leo. In a display of true selflessness that puts the Trumps to shame, the cancer-stricken pontiff had already called Russian President Vladimir Putin to request the Oleshky ceasefire a full week before Melania announced her fictional deal. The Pope made that critical call from his hospital bed, where he is currently fighting for his life and recovering from lung cancer surgery.
Yet, completely unbothered by the timeline, Melania's top adviser, Marc Beckman, shamelessly brushed aside the Pope's vital intervention to insist the achievement belonged to the First Lady alone.
"Yesterday she brokered — single-handedly brokered — a ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine within the area of Oleshky," Beckman bragged on Fox & Friends Weekend on Saturday. In a staggering twist of delusion, Beckman even claimed that Melania inspired the Pope to get involved, rather than the other way around.
Equally detached from reality, Donald Trump is doubling down on his wife's rewritten history, telling reporters with a straight face that she is "doing better than the professionals right now."
To top off the entire embarrassing spectacle, Melania herself later added, "It is great to have [the] Pope’s support."

25 milliards de dollars. C'est le prix du projet américain de gaz naturel liquéfié en Alaska... secrètement financé par une entreprise russe sous sanctions.
Selon le Financial Times et le New York Times, la société américaine Polar LNG prévoit de construire un terminal d'exportation de GNL en Alaska d'une valeur de 25 milliards de dollars.
Sa direction a démissionné en bloc après la découverte d'un financement occulte de Novatek, le géant gazier russe.
L'ancien PDG Joel Riddle croyait au début que l'argent venait de la société émiratie Tech Wave Industrial Projects Management et d'un investisseur proche de la famille Trump, Gentry Beach.
Puis il a découvert que les fonds venaient de Novatek, qui participait aussi aux décisions stratégiques... avant même d'avoir les autorisations nécessaires 🤨
La maison se vide : Riddle démissionne en septembre, suivi du directeur financier Dan Chandra et du vice-président exécutif Jim Smith.
Les dessous qui font tâche :
-Le cabinet d'avocats américain Baker Botts a estimé que l'entrée d'un investisseur ayant travaillé chez Novatek, Bjorn Gundersen, posait de sérieux risques de sanctions aux yeux de Washington
- Des échanges internes entre dirigeants de Novatek évoquaient un versement jusqu'à 15 millions de dollars à Tech Wave.
- Selon le NYT, le projet a été discuté entre Poutine et les émissaires de Trump, Witkoff et Kushner. Un responsable américain assure que c'était évoqué "en gros", sans négociations détaillées.
Novatek, de son côté, admet avoir accordé à Tech Wave le droit d'utiliser ses technologies en Alaska, avoir signé un mémorandum avec Polar LNG en avril et viser une participation minoritaire.
Mais il nie tout deal : pas question, dit-il, d'un échange "levée des sanctions sur Arctic LNG 2 contre l'aide au projet en Alaska".
Polar LNG réplique que Riddle a été licencié et que tout est conforme au droit américain. Son remplaçant par intérim : Tim Tokington, qui dirigeait auparavant la filiale russe de Goldman Sachs.

Le projet prévoit une capacité jusqu'à 21 millions de tonnes de GNL par an, avec technologie russe de liquéfaction, plateforme au large de la côte nord de l'Alaska, livraisons vers l'Asie.
Le ministère américain des Finances affirme prendre "extrêmement au sérieux" les violations potentielles des sanctions. Sans commenter, évidemment.
Tout ça pendant que Washington et Moscou négocient la fin de la guerre en Ukraine. Aujourd'hui, ça devient une habitude de financer d'une main et de condamner de l'autre 😡

"Не здавайтесь і не зраджуйте Батьківщину" - сказав йому вертухай у російській колонії. Це був той самий чоловік, який щодня бив українців.
Він думав, що його зараз поб'ють. А вертухай відвів його в кімнату і сказав те, чого він не очікував почути від ворога.
Історія Володимира Сорочана - експолоненого з Херсона. 30 місяців у російському полоні.
"Раз в три місяці когось забивали до смерті. Просто тому, що їм так захотілося", - згадує він.
Найважче було в Ряжску, коли не годували. На вечерю давали чверть картоплі і казали: "Нічого, вилікуєтесь уже в Україні".
А якось принесли гречку - "але там була не гречка, а вода. Я казав, що це просто вода, коли миють каструлю".
Одного разу вертухай запитав, звідки він родом. Володимир відповів: з Херсона.
Той вивів його в окрему кімнату, зняв балаклаву і сказав російською: "Я зробив дурну помилку в 14-му році, що повірив пропаганді. Зараз дуже шкодую. І як би вам важко не було - не здавайтесь, не зраджуйте Батьківщину".
"На його очах наверталися сльози. Він був більш пригнічений, ніж навіть ми в полоні", - каже Володимир.
І додає: "Можливо, у нього була задача втертися в довіру. Але мені здається, що якісь нотки співчуття в ньому були".
Про кожен день побиття він розповідає стримано. Працювали кінологами і шокерами. "Коли били, їм подобалося, щоб ми кричали".
Без слів починали бити по ногах гумовою палицею - і всі мовчали.
"Ви що, вам не боляче?" - і бив ще сильніше. Кричати доводилося, щоб задовольнити його его.
"І перший раз у житті я побачив колір своїх ніг майже від п'ят до сідниць. Вона була чорно-синя".
А ще був день, коли замість палиці й шокера у вертухая в руках опинився фотоапарат.
"Я думаю: що це, фотосесія буде?" Виявилось - обмін.
Охоронці казали, що це "наступний етап" і що вони залишаються в Росії. Але сусіди по камері вже знали правду.
"Я вже був упевнений - сам у собі, в серці, - що їду на обмін. Бо цього дуже хотілося".
І ось він уже в Україні. Заходить сбушник, називає прізвище - і не збігається ім'я та по батькові.
"Я йому кажу: я нікуди назад не поїду". - "Та ти вже приїхав, ти вже нікуди не поїдеш".
Сьогодні Володимир уперше за рік наважився приїхати в рідний Херсон.
"Мене всі відмовляли: тут шалені обстріли, не приїжджай. Я уявляв, що буде гірше - бо бачив, що сталося з Маріуполем. Я не скажу, що Херсон мертвий, але він ледве дихає", - каже він.
Він веде блог про полон і написав книгу "Полон". І показує те, що бачив щодня: ось кормушка - віконечко в коридор, звідки видавали їжу. Ось коридор, де треба стати вздовж стіни - і по тобі починають працювати.
"Ми ніколи не були браттями - ні по родині, ні по матері".
Він вижив. І розповідає далі - щоб не забули.
