Harry Brook scores ODIs quickest 200 - breaking Shubman Gill’s record made just last month!!!

Not exactly a bowler but Naman Dhir the batsman is fast making an impact in this Indian team. Sanju Samson at the top and Naman Dhir in the end getting India over the line but India need to also face upto hard questions about their T20 combination and fielding/catching #IndvsNZ #T20I

If India doesn’t find a place for Varun Chakravarthy or Kuldeep Yadav in the XI they will invariably end up conceding 220+ most of the games. Happened in India. May happen in New Zealand too. Don’t know how many times they will have their No.8 batsman taking them across the line #IndvsNZ #T20I

None of the two wicket-taking spinners - Kuldeep and Varun - playing today. Essence again on batting till No.8 #IndvsNZ

If all pre-match discussions revolve around a 16-year old boy who’s not being considered good enough to play in the XI, he must be bloody good to not just play but to rule. No player happily sits out. Not Sachin Tendulkar. Not Virat Kohli. Not Rohit Sharma. And certainly not Vaibhav Sooryavanshi - any team on this planet must be very very good when they can’t find him a place in the XI. Are India actually that invincible in T20s today?

Two of India’s best opening batsmen, the ones putting fear into the minds of rival bowlers, share their birthdays today! Wishing Virender Sehwag and Navjot Sidhu @sherryontopp @virendersehwag a very happy birthday!

Bangalore T20 called off. India and West Indies share the series 2-2. #IndvsWI

India won’t bat now. They will finish 118/5 in 7.4. Now if the game doesn’t start by 10.21pm (for 5 overs for Windies) the match will be abandoned. If West Indies do get 5 overs the target will be 85. #IndvsWI

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi had to be played in the XI today. No way in a 5-match series you don’t give him even one game. Today, it’s 9 overs a side game so the 5th bowler only has to bowl 1 over. Either Naman Dhir or Shivam Dube should have sat out and Vaibhav should have played with the Asian Games’ formula: Vaibhav, Abhishek, Sanju, Ishaan, Iyer, Tilak followed by Dhir/Dube, Axar, Bhuvi, Prince and Arshdeep . #IndvsWI

Two changes: Bhuvneshwar in for Mayank Yadav. And Shivam Dube on for Nitish Kumar Reddy who was “unavailable for selection”. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Ravi Bishnoi the only ones not to have played any game this 5-match series #IndvsWI
