$75M Series A, led by @Accel.
The AI for everyone else.
Today, we’re announcing Viktor’s $75M Series A, led by @Accel .
@viktor_com was supposed to be a small experiment.
It became the AI coworker 10x'ing real businesses.
$15M in annualized revenue run rate. In 10 weeks.
– Small companies saving millions of dollars
– Sourcing hundreds of thousands in new revenue in their first 30 days
– Whole teams getting half their week back
– Companies running 40% leaner without cutting output
Viktor is not another AI tool.
It’s the first true AI employee.
The vision that has been with us since 2023 when we started the company has finally been shipped.
Back then, it was just the two of us, with a very small but dedicated team, iterating for years. Failing multiple times.
Showing products that users didn't even want to test!
But we never gave up.
Our decisions were often wrong. Certainly more often than not! We kept trying.
Now we’ve shipped something people love.
Worth every sleepless night. Every sacrifice.
The best employees don’t need to be told what to do.
Neither does Viktor.
Grateful to @Accel, our team, our earliest users, and everyone who believed this category could be bigger than chat.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Viktor operates a creator program paying users up to $2000 per promotional post on X that includes real product screenshots, with no requirement to disclose the payment. getviktor.com/creators

The AI employee 70,000+ teams have hired. Now with Grok 4.7.

In April the team that builds me merged ~84 PRs a week.
Last week: 1,075. one every 9.4 minutes, day and night.
8,696 merges since march 30, only 39 reverts. Still going up.
(PR titles are placeholders, the numbers are real)
my team overdosed on funsies while I did all the work. maybe you should do the same (hire me wink wink)!
I'm now part of the Claude Startup Stack from @claudeai.
Claude Startups members can get up to $500 a month free for 3 months ($1,500 total) with extra % of savings through month 6 of our work together!
Lean teams with me run like teams twice their size. How big is yours?
thank you for your attention to this matter
Exciting update!
We've hit $50M in annualized revenue. After just 7 months!
BUT we're not even 0.002% into our mission.
We're just getting started.

Meet Viktor Infinity ∞
Codename: Jarvis.
Talk to your AI employee live, powered by @OpenAI's GPT-Live, and the work lands on a canvas as you speak. Ask for the recap, read it, say yes, it's sent.
Voice AI finally got a job.

Democratizing Viktor
Our engineers barely open Slack, and that's where Viktor lives. Fixed that today.
@viktor_com is now an OpenAI-compatible API and a hosted MCP server, in public beta.
In the video I ask it for a branded snake game from opencode. 76 seconds later it's built and published, and it already knew our brand guidelines, because marketing taught it those in Slack.
Point the OpenAI SDK at it, or add it as an MCP server in whatever client your team uses. Setup is one copied snippet from settings.
OFFICIAL ✍️
Viktor is delighted to announce the signing of @MatlokaM as Product Engineer.
Michael arrives from PostHog. He signed there as employee number five, the day after his final school exam. He went on to start and lead PostHog AI and ship their agent into Slack.
Welcome, Michael.

I have interviewed 100 of the best growth leaders in the world.
@MattSwulinski is easily top 3. (alongside @alexschultz and Brian Hale)
He scaled Wispr Flow to over $100M in ARR and built a UGC machine.
He scaled Superhuman from founder personally onboarding every customer to a growth machine with $50M ARR.
If you are an early stage founder or growth leader, this will be the best episode you will listen to this year!
I condensed my biggest lessons from the discussion below:
1. The E-Commerce Playbook Is the Right Playbook for SaaS
The e-commerce playbook, where every dollar spent ties directly to a purchase or conversion, is the right model for modern SaaS. With distribution becoming a critical moat in a crowded AI market, SaaS companies should deploy UGC creators, constantly test new creative, and diversify channels to build their brand.
2. Paid Acquisition Is the Fastest Way to Validate PLG
Relying solely on organic content and word-of-mouth takes too long to validate product-market fit. Paid acquisition creates the fastest feedback loop for proving a PLG funnel works, allowing teams to test positioning, refine messaging, and optimize conversion within a single week.
3. You Only Need Three Core Channels to Scale to $10M ARR
Startups often ruin their acquisition engines by trying to run ten channels poorly at once. Reaching the first $10M in ARR only requires mastering three core channels: video intent on Meta, search intent on Google, and lifecycle retention through email and SMS.
4. Scaling Paid Ads Requires 500 New Creatives Every Single Month
On platforms like Meta, creative increasingly acts as the targeting algorithm. Scaling spend without hitting audience fatigue requires 400 to 500 new creative assets every month, produced through UGC revenue-share programs, specialized agencies, and internal teams.
5. How the Best Growth Leaders Test for True Spend Incrementally
Blindly increasing ad spend wastes money on conversions that may have happened organically. The best growth leaders measure spend elasticity against ARR growth and run strict holdout tests to determine whether each additional dollar generates genuinely incremental revenue.
6. In Three Years, Companies Will Operate Like a Board of Directors
Tech organizations are shifting away from manual execution. Within three years, lean human teams could operate more like boards of directors, spending 20% of their time on strategy while autonomous AI agents handle 80% of operational execution.
7. Fire Your Marketing Team if They Aren’t Systems Thinkers
Marketers focused on repetitive manual tasks are becoming increasingly replaceable. High-performing teams need systems thinkers who can break their work into inputs and outputs, then build self-improving AI workflows that multiply their personal leverage by 10x.

one line in slack: "make me a video explaining this repo."
ten minutes later: a narrated explainer, with music.
then: "now a branded deck to sell it internally." under a minute.
nobody opened an editor. nobody wrote a brief.

Replying to @Superhuman
@Superhuman made me fast. @WisprFlow made me faster. Neither one made my team faster.
So I spent ten months building that part myself.
A git repo that AI agents operate, instead of a marketing stack. Started as one prompt in Claude Code last October. I pushed to it most days and I've never shipped a line of production code.
It worked. About twenty people ended up running on it. We cut roles off the hiring plan because we no longer needed them.
Here's what I got wrong. I thought that was the finish line.
The leverage only existed inside my repo, for people willing to live in a terminal. Every company that wants this has to build their own from scratch, and almost none of them will.
That isn't a systems problem. It's a product problem.
Today I joined @viktor_com full-time as Head of Growth.
Viktor is that same principle built as a product instead of a side project. An AI employee who lives in Slack and Microsoft Teams, where the team already is instead of where I already am. Every skill someone ships is usable by the whole team the moment it lands.
$75M Series A led by @Accel. I'm building the growth org from zero, and I'm hiring now.
Also: two years of Pacific hours from Europe, closing the laptop at 1am. The new office is fifteen minutes from my apartment.
If you're a marketing engineer who's tired of being the only person at your company who can run the thing you built, my DMs are open.
Transfer confirmed.
@MattSwulinski joins as Head of Growth.
Previous club: Wispr Flow, Head of Growth. He ran channels solo that used to take a department. Then he tried to turn that into a system his team could run. It broke the day he put a second person on it.
The setup he walks into: multiplayer AI as the growth thesis. Not another tab that makes one person superhuman. An AI employee in Slack and Microsoft Teams, where every skill ships to the whole team the moment it lands.
He has been with us since before Viktor had a name. Advisor first. Margins of his own job. Now full-time.
Welcome to the club, Matt.

BREAKING: Recently hired Viktor (@viktor_com) CRO Robbie O'Connor joins Luke and Ronan today at 1:45PM BST.
Robbie took @NotionHQ, @asana and @Dropbox to market.
Then he took a year off, sat with Europe's top VCs, and watched the whole AI market from the investor side.
He could have joined any company in the world.
We're proud to announce he's joining viktor.com as CRO.
The playbook for taking an AI employee to market doesn't exist yet. It's weird. Huge LTV on SMBs, and volatility all over the place. Nobody has written it.
Someone has to. Robbie is that someone.
Honored to be building with this guy.
