Georgia just sent Trump a warning for centuries.
Jon Ossoff in Atlanta: "Georgia will rebuke the crook President Donald Trump with such clarity and power that no president will dare such abuses again for centuries."
Watch until the end. Yes we can. 🔥

Dolores Huerta, who founded the United Farm Workers with Cesar Chavez, changing laws and the lives of thousands of laborers, died on Wednesday at 96. A skilled organizer, she coordinated walkouts and negotiated pathbreaking contracts with agribusiness. nyti.ms/4zZMDUY

Dolores Huerta never held elected office, nor did she ever lead a federal or state agency.
She reshaped the entire American political landscape through the force of her advocacy for labor rights and insistence on lifting up the most vulnerable among us.
The most powerful people in the country looked to her for moral guidance and political wisdom, and the least powerful found in her a friend and ally who treated them as equals.
We lost a giant today.

“Sí, se puede.” ❤️
Today we remember Dolores Huerta (1930–2026), a tireless champion for justice.
In this special moment at TV Santa Barbara, she leads children in the words that inspired generations.
Her voice lives on. Her legacy lives through them.

Dolores Huerta once told me, “You should dance in your 20s so you can march in your 90s.”
And march she did. For justice. For dignity. For those whose voices were too often ignored.
She taught us that the fight for a better world should be filled with joy, that resistance can be a celebration, and that the rhythm of change lives in all of us.
Today, we mourn a giant. But her footsteps will echo in every march, her spirit will live in every movement, and her words will carry us forward.
Remember: who has the power? The people have the power.
Siempre.

first Gloria Steinem then Dolly Parton and now Dolores Huerta…women who gained us rights for generations all dying in a year where we’re seeing those same rights on the ballot.

Barack Obama awards Dolores Huerta the Presidential Medal of Freedom, 2012:
"Without any negotiating experience, Dolores helped lead a worldwide grape boycott that forced growers to agree to some of the country's first farm worker contracts, and ever since, she has fought to give more people a seat at the table... And on a personal note, Dolores was very gracious when I told her I had stolen her slogan, 'sí, se puede,' or 'yes, we can.' Knowing her, I'm pleased that she let me off easy, because Dolores does not play."

This was Biloxi, Mississippi, yesterday, where Pete Buttigieg rallied with Scott Colom.
Notice anything about the crowd?
It’s predominantly white, showing support for a Black Democrat running for the U.S. Senate in Mississippi.
That’s worth paying attention to.

They should impeach Trump just for this. Disgusting.
Alex Pretti's father: Our son was shot and killed by the government, federal immigration agents, on January 24th, 2026. We learned about his death from the media as we saw him being shot repeatedly in the back after helping a woman from his community. This was not a protest that Alex was at. His hands were in the air, and his face was on the ground when he was executed by ICE agents. We know exactly what our eyes saw. No one from the federal government called us on that day. But they did go on TV to tell lies about Alex. No one has called us since. No one has recanted those lies.

Replying to @erik4america
To keep things in perspective I always think back to all the elections past where the most racist and disgusting people would still win election and what it must feel like for a Black American seeing their country betray them every single time. As a white person I have never felt that kind of heartache. This was how I was able to survive Trump.

Mike Johnson is panicking.
Because he knows that if we hold him under 50% on Nov 3rd, he is forced into a runoff in December.
Conrad Cable can do it, with your help.

Alex Pretti's mother: The federal government went on TV and lied about Alex. They tried to slander Alex to cover up their crime. We want to clear our son's name, and the world to understand who Alex really was. We want our son's killers brought to justice once and for all. We are begging for the Department of Justice to hold the men who murdered our son accountable for what they did.
