Back in the '90s I dated a girl whose father used to work for Waffle House corporate.
He explained the system to me in detail and being that I ate there all the time, it was fascinating to watch it happen in real life.
And I'm not saying this to disparage Waffle House employees but this system was set up not only to be efficient but also to work well with the types of people who get jobs at Waffle House.
It's simple, effective, and results in very, very few mistakes.
It is quite ingenious.

A) Wonder where that young person goes and I hope he figures something out!
B) Six figure savings per year to the owners of the firm, and depending on how you look at it - that's easily a one million dollar accretion tp wealth for them.

Lowkey, this is part of why SEC schools are becoming so popular with white students from the Northeast. With affirmative action gone and Asian enrollment rising at selective universities, campus demographics are simply shifting. It is basically a form of white flight.
Harvard has just released data for the freshman class, the class of 2030.
Asian American students make up 43% (41% class of 2029). This undercounts it though because some students did not self report racial background. Black % at 9% (down from 11% class of 2029).
White American % is only around 20%.
The New American Elite will be invariably Asian & Wasian. This is indisputable at this point. The decline of White Americans at our elite institutions over the past decade is a massively consequential trend, with cultural & social ramifications.

You can hear the hurt in this guys voice. It’s so relatable to me, because he’s most likely a truck driver like I am.
When I told my company a few years ago that I needed to be home several months in advance, sending constant reminders, because I’m moving, they got me home a day late and I nearly missed my move in date.
I was angry and I almost quit on the spot.
Now imagine having kids and your company tells you that you have to work a little extra, when you were supposed to be home an hour ago, but have 10 more stores to deliver to.
If someone does launch a GOFUNDME for him, I will donate a considerable amount. 🙏🏾

I had 3 separate uncles get cancer and aggressive illnesses bc of blue collar work. Dad can barely move some mornings and paid an enormous physical price to do it as long as he did. His dad died from it too.
Blue collar work is a downgrade bc of the physicality it requires & the limited amount of time u actually physically can do the work before the high probability u end up sick, injured, or dead & that's even if you are working around really smart men who care about ur well-being.
So 🖕🖕 this isn't "a woman thought" these are my father's own words so the next time you want to use something I say for gender/culture war nonsense I was actually sympathizing with this, I know exactly why younger men don't wanna take it for very long bc it's a raw deal, and lying to them about these realities is a shitty thing to do.
