"How do I get better at editing?"
Watching tutorials is 20% of it
Editing MORE videos is the other 80% ✅
Edit more videos and you'll naturally get better over time :D
Recent wins :3 🏆 feels good dawggg
Will get back to posting regularly, this has been a stressful few weeks for me in terms of editing I can't lie 😭😭
Learning different ways on how to organize my schedule better
🌟 PRO tip for editors who want to improve their editing speed 2x:
If you're working on a bigger project that uses assets that are very specific to ONLY that project (adjustment layers, etc),
Project bin > New item > Sequence
Place the assets in it
Now you can copy/paste them quickly by switching!
No more scrambling through the timeline and re-adjusting assets every 2 seconds ⏰

Deep work is SO overpowered 🤩
I edited something that usually would've taken me 8 hours in literally HALF the amount of time 📈
Even if it's hard, at least attempt it 🫡
Save yourself some TIME and ENERGY ✅

To be in the 1% and make $10k+/mo as an editor, you HAVE to focus on being a business owner first 📈
Will elaborate more once I find the words
Tutorial dropping tmrw 🙌
I'm telling ya'll, you don't have to be the fanciest editor in the world to have happy clients 😭
While skill helps, it's like 30% of what ACTUALLY matters
Prioritize being TIMELY ⏰ w/ clear communication + deadlines over everything else, and I swear you'll do great ✅
It's my bread n butter atp 👩🍳
