What would you build with RGB v0.12?
A game that rewards players? A tipping tool? A checkout for RGB assets?
We're looking for teams to build with VOUT. Tell us your idea. We'll help with docs, APIs and integration.

Sending BTC shouldn't disturb your RGB assets.
An RGB-aware wallet must account for the asset allocations tied to the Bitcoin outputs it spends.
Our RWP spec requires those allocations to be preserved, even when an app only requests a BTC payment.

RGB needs more than wallets. It needs applications, developers and a common way for them to connect.
That's why we're building the RGB Wallet Provider (RWP).
An open interface for connecting applications with Bitcoin, RGB and Lightning wallets.
VOUT is the reference implementation.
We want other wallets and developers to build on it too.

An #RGB asset is more than a name or ticker.
Every RGB asset has its own Contract ID, which identifies the contract behind it.
Two assets can share the same ticker and still be completely different assets.
Always verify the Contract ID, not just the name.
This is how we approach RGB in VOUT.

Why does #RGB v0.12 matter for a phone wallet?
Transfer proofs can be processed as a stream rather than loaded as one large file.
That's one of the design choices behind our decision to build VOUT on v0.12.
Inscriptions. Runes. RGB. All in VOUT Lightning.
One Asset Channel Layer on our LDK fork, with a native anchor for each protocol: runestones for Runes, RGB anchors for RGB, and inscriptions next.
Zero-fee v3 commitments + P2A. Every asset, at Lightning speed.

What changes in #RGB v0.12?
A unified model for contract state, and a contract API that tells wallets how to work with each contract.
We're building VOUT around that approach, with the goal of making RGB easier to use and integrate.
An #RGB transfer carries more than an amount.
The receiving wallet checks the proofs against the contract's rules and history before accepting the asset.
That's client-side validation: checking what you receive, not just displaying a balance.
