It was a pleasure to be hosted a second time in the Between the Brackets podcast, for a broad conversation covering topics like #CapeVerde at the World Cup, #Wikimania2026 & its Team Challenges #hackathon, Abstract Wikipedia & Wikifunctions, #unionization at the WMF, and more.

I was starting to think this day would never arrive! 🥹 Congratulations on the momentous release — it's been a long time coming 😁
2025.21 - Numbered Lists, Chocolate and Matcha Themes, Calendar Polishing, Nips and Tucks. 🧵1/6
Numbered List
Long requested by the very organized Workflowy user, you can now easily turn any item into a Numbered list! Great for er, putting things in order.
Find it in the Item menu, Slash Command (/number), or by pressing Ctrl + Alt + 0 on PC (Cmd + Opt + 0 on Mac).

Replying to @hacktoberfest
@hacktoberfest the "Pull/Merge Request Details" in the FAQ at hacktoberfest.com/participat… led me to misunderstand the timelines involved. It says "Your PR/MR must match [the criteria] before Hacktoberfest ends on October 31 (in any time zone, UTC-12 thru UTC+14) to be counted" (1/2)

Pebble is officially back on iOS and Android! Download it now, works with all old and new Pebbles.
Incredible that everything's still working just as well as before. Can you say that about any other tech product you bought 13 years ago??

Rudimentary API
We’re not excited at all to announce a very basic, barely useful API! You can find the full reference here: beta.workflowy.com/api-refer….
We’re making it this small on purpose: we have no idea what you actually want to build with an API, and developing it any further without your input would just be guesswork.
So if you want Workflowy to have a decent API, go try to build whatever you wanted to build with this barebones version and then tell us exactly where it fails you!

Today, I’m thrilled to share that Spotify has returned Podlink to my care! After four and a half years, Podlink is back with its original founder, and I’m excited about what’s ahead.
I've migrated my @CirclesUBI profile to the new platform, @aboutcircles. I need to rebuild my trust network, so if you're a user too and would be willing to trust my personal currency, here's my profile:

I've just performed the periodic backup of my @teuxdeux data onto a Google Sheet, and took the opportunity to extract some stats. I've been using it to plan my days (and log my activity) for 13 years straight. I think it's fair to say I'm a full-on addict at this point! 😅🤓
btw, @teuxdeux: I hope this illustrates the importance of the archival/log aspect of the tool, and of the ability to e.g. (1) manually control the order of the entries, i.e. disable the automatic sorting; (2) edit done items; (3) add items directly in done status; and more. 🙏🥺
2024 update: xitter.cf/waldyrious/status/1872…
This will be the final update, as I have now moved from TeuxDeux to Timestripe. See the full thread for context: xitter.cf/waldyrious/status/1865…
After almost exactly 15 years of using @teuxdeux to manage my daily tasks, I have decided to move to @timestripe for my task and project management needs. I've used teuxdeux pretty much every single day since 2009, logging nearly 100,000 tasks in total. Here's why I'm switching:

The interface, despite having a lot more functions, is almost as clean as TeuxDeux, 😍 and the Android app feels actually native and works well, even offline!
So yeah, I'm diving in. Wish me luck. So long, @teuxdeux, and thanks for all the fish! ❤️
Update: here are my final statistics: +96,000 todo entries, over 15 years, with a recent average of 10,000 entries per year. For comparison, see my previous stats post: xitter.cf/waldyrious/status/1571…
