This is Maiherpri, an ancient Egyptian royal court official whose mummy was discovered in the Valley of the Kings in 1899.
Look at those extraordinary curls, his closed eyelids, his lips, and even his teeth… still visible after thousands of years!
What makes this even more emotional is the peaceful expression on his face. He almost looks as though he simply fell asleep yesterday.
Just imagine… this young man once walked, talked, smiled, and experienced life in ancient Egypt.
Generations have come and gone. Kingdoms have risen and fallen. The world has changed beyond recognition.
Yet his face remains… silently connecting us to a life that ended 3,500 years ago. ❤️
