So I love how the GA state legislature changed the regional Atlanta Transit-Link Authority (which manages transit planning and federal grants) into the statewide GTEA where the Governor, President of the Senate, and Speaker of the house appoint 12 of the 13 members.
OOOPS. 😈

This reminds me
We need to redesign the Georgia State flag
It’s still the confederate stars and bars bullshit
They just hid the symbols

Yeah, I’m not afraid of my neighbors.
I believe in public goods and services. And I believe that a kind and generous America is the best version of America.

Well Marta bus rider tells us everything we need to know about you. Enjoy higher taxes, gas prices, and everything else that comes with blue states. It’s like ya’ll want things to be worse economically. Smh… look at California! Cost of living is ridiculous!
We will be forced to eat this every month starting January…this is what happens when you elect the radical Democrat party to lead

Real freedom is having safe transportation choices other than just a car w/ a minimum participation fee of ~$10k/year. Car crashes are the #1 killer of kids and main cause of air and microplastic pollution. It's not "freedom" if it forces danger and costs onto everyone else.

Cities have existed for thousands of years without cars. Sprawl wasn’t pure consumer demand, but created by auto-lobby influence and laws banning walkable cities. Claiming people chose sprawl ignores 70+yrs of single-family zoning, parking minimums, and billions in car subsidies.

The entire Democratic Party owes a massive debt of gratitude to Zohran Mamdani.
Before his rapid rise, the party was largely rudderless, suffering from a loss of direction, momentum, and self-confidence. By drifting away from the working class, the party naturally saw voters walk away in response.
Mamdani single-handedly corrected the course, bringing vital energy, ideological clarity, and an authentic connection back to the very people who had been left behind.
Without his influence, the party’s current standing would look very different.
