“Living in the OC was tough as a young, Black, African kid. I was a token, a play thing, or something to be made fun of. I internalized a lot of that hatred, and it took me another decade to unlearn.” - Suzanne Mungalez

fuck your "death positivity" and "death acceptance". how can i make peace with death in a world where people, systems, and institutions function and profit of off the suffering and killing of me and my kin.
those of us who are not yet dead must fight for death liberation. we must fight for a world where we all live, die, and grieve in more humane, free, conditions.
One thing a colonizer is gonna do is colonize. This book about a white american who joined the colonial Kenyan police reserve to fight the Land and Freedom Army (MAU MAU), is an example of that.
Curated a list of articles and videos about the histories and experiences of Afro-Palestinians:

Gaza's archives are gone. These archives documented a history deeply rooted long before immigrants from Eastern Europe arrived in our country.
The Israeli occupation destroys the central archive of #Gaza municipality, executing thousands of historical documents, and deliberately razing all life forms; erasing the city and its #history. It is worth noting that the archive holds #documents more than a hundred years old.

The police invaded @chechebooks at our solidarity meeting and arrested 3 of our Comrades who are now at Muthangari Police station. Call for their release. This is illegal and unconstitutional!
