Many of you don't know how to navigate relationships if they're not transactional. If someone is vulnerable you can't be in their community unless they pedestalize you and allow a power imbalance. Which is why you hate children, and disabled folk - you can't just love.

The headmaster and GES probably pleaded with the parent not to pursue the issue. That is what they do. I have reported issues like this to the headmaster of Adidome SHS and the district directorate with evidence but nothing has been done. The problem is very deep.

The police have confirmed to me that two victims reported sexual abuse by the Obuasi SHTS head, but one victim's father withdrew the case. Since last year, people have always intervened to talk the victims' families out of taking action against the headmaster.

“I am a man of God.” “I am a church elder.” “I am a teacher.” “I am a headmaster.” These titles are meant to protect. Instead, too many abusers wear them as cloaks, using respect and status to hide their evil, to rape, to defile, and to silence. It is exactly why, when the truth comes out, the victims are the ones doubted. “Not him. He’s a respected man.” But a title is not a character reference. Status does not equal innocence. We must stop protecting reputations and start protecting children. Demand accountability, no matter who the accused is. #JusticeForObuasiSHTSGirls

They said we shouldn't reduce her to being just a woman who has to comment on every issue relating to women and girls wai 👍👍👍👍👍 – at Kunkunu, Ghana
ever since this woman came, I’ve not seen her fight for anything openly ? I’m starting to think her position is purely ceremonial. otherwise this is absolutely crazy.

This is why they hire women btw, not to ensure the glass ceiling is removed but to have them be mouth pieces for the system in situations that affect women and children. Now you see why feminists didn't celebrate this sort of "representation" when she was elected.
Obuasi SHTS exposé: Vice President Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang has urged that due process be allowed to take its course in the sexual misconduct allegations at Obuasi Senior High Technical School. Speaking on her return from Shanghai, China, the Vice President described the matter as a serious concern, stressing its implications for the lives and future of those affected. #JoyNews

More than 100 interviews, each lasting three to four hours. That's part of how Michaela Coel built the world of First Day on Earth. Writing in ELLE UK, Coel reveals that she interviewed Ghanaians and British-Ghanaians for roles, weaving their lives and experiences into the upcoming BBC/HBO series. She also reflects on four months filming in Ghana, the demands of writing and directing, and the lessons of an earlier burnout. “Creating a workplace ecosystem of kindness was non-negotiable”, she writes. First Day on Earth is expected in 2027 🔗elle.com/uk/life-and-culture…

One thing we need to crack down on, is people in government positions having extra marital affairs. It also contributes to corruption. They steal money to fund trips of their affairs and their lifestyle. Anti-corruption is going to cover all aspects of our lives.

The insistence on being politically correct when 19 girls have come forward with allegations of sexual abuse against the same man is pissing me off. And it’s through this same gyimie of tiptoeing around the issue that is giving him the audacity to sue

Good morning obiaaa If you’re seeing this, just know that 38 teachers are being targeted for transfer because they decided to protect young girls from sexual predators. This is what the NDC has reduced the Ghana educational service to. The future is exciting.
