I grew up in Monterey Park. I went to elementary school around the corner from the shooting. My parents used to ballroom dance with their friends at this studio. I’m completely devastated. 💔

My folks made me stop by a fruit stand as I was driving them home to buy a bunch of mangoes & oranges. They then forced them onto my sister, my wife & I before we left their house. Because as every Chinese kid knows, the ultimate sign of parental love is the gift of whole fruit.
