Understanding the different levels of hoops is so key. I wouldn't have any idea what a good D-III prospect was if I didn't go watch a couple dozen D-III games every year.

Requisites to being a good evaluator: Be in the gym & watch with your own👀(repeatedly) Understand nuances of BOTH the level you’re watching & the level you’re projecting for Be comfortable being wrong – when projecting a future’s market, even the best are frequently wrong

It is stunning how many coaches I met who would turn down D-II or D-III interest for their kids because they thought their kids were better. And ended up screwing over those kids. It's not an insult to have those colleges aware. If the kid is better, he'll get those offers.

It should be mandatory that every high school coach must go to at least 1 live college game at each level The amount of disrespect from some high school coaches I’ve had is unbelievable Please explain how ur guy is “too good” for D3, w no interest in March of his senior year

Is it us or is the politics in the Miami Basketball Community getting way out hand. Coaches should be helping each other out to get kids exposure not talk bad about other coaches to get kids for high school/AAU teams. This is really sad.

Not the ending we wanted but I couldn’t be happier with this team’s effort and commitment this season! We lost our team captain and 1st team all conference player 9 games into this journey and dealt with countless other injuries but still found a way to finish 9-5 in league play! – at Pennsylvania, USA
