Oh fck off. Is there no pleasure in life anymore? 🫠
The scrambled eggs at a hotel breakfast are 19% water, and they're dyed. A lot of hotels and cafeterias pour them from a carton of Papetti's Breakfast Blend. The spec sheet reads whole eggs, 19% water, then under 2% of salt, xanthan gum, citric acid, annatto color and natural butter flavor. Papetti's is part of Michael Foods, one of the biggest egg processors in the country. Every ingredient has a job on a steam table. Xanthan gum holds the added water in the egg so it doesn't weep into the pan. Citric acid keeps the eggs from turning gray or green under a heat lamp. Annatto puts back the yolk color the water washed out. The butter flavor is there because nobody is going to add butter. The carton keeps for 98 days in the cooler. The plain version from the same company is whole eggs, whey, skim milk, xanthan and citric acid, with almost no added water and half the sodium.

Sam Fender says he’s “not happy” with prices for 2027 stadium tour and they’re “getting changed” He also criticised split standing sections at big shows: "It’s bollocks and it won’t be happening on this tour" nme.com/news/music/sam-fende…

The end is not far away, is it.
SCOOP: Major U.S. banks are detecting unauthorized third-party AI agents inside customer accounts, including some attempting to take actions that appear to be independent of user instructions, sources told Axios. The findings have alarmed banking executives, who are racing to restrict access to their systems as AI moves at a velocity faster than financial institutions can respond, multiple industry and bank executives told Axios. Several banks are now preparing for worst-case and even “day after” scenarios, including how to rapidly secure or restore customer accounts if things go wrong, the people said. Several bank executives told Axios they're struggling to distinguish between human users and AI agents. One executive said banks also struggle to determine whether agents are authorized by customers or potentially operating without their permission, more akin to rogue agent behavior. I don’t mind the licence fee - I think for @chris_hawkins alone it’s worth £11 a month. Well about £10.49. Nobody is perfect.
🚨 NEW: The Government is planning to extend the licence fee to online platforms such as Netflix, Disney+ and Amazon

Would you let AI buy something for you online? From finding the product to checking out? courageous.co.uk/2026/10/sit…

People ‘designing’ football club crests with AI and suggesting they’re better than those designed by a human creative. They’re wrong. It’s like wishing your other half a happy anniversary on social media. Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.

Totally agree. Andeh has got this wrong.
Here we throw. An England fan on a group WhatsApp with 200 home-and-away members reports that most of those polled are against the PM’s idea of a trial allowing fans to be able to drink alcohol in the stands. “Most don’t want that Boxpark culture of beers being thrown in the air when there is a goal, those few idiots throwing up, or having people shuffle past them every min to go get their pint and come back. The reasons for the ban in the first place (the terrace culture of decades ago) may have gone, but that doesn’t mean that lifting it will all go smoothly.”

James has a point…
The words “Trust” and “Tony Blair” have never shared a credible sentence.

There must be a reason for it, but I haven’t got a clue. Why do the tallest buildings in the city all look the same? Grey and black glass. Not many others look different.
