The CPS are rightly completely independent from police. Why on earth are CC trying to persuade the CPS over the #lucyletby case. This is fundamentally against all common practice. How have CC’s media dept got so much influence, it’s disturbing

Take one of the crucial pieces of evidence, the ‘confession note’. Research the actual note and read it all. Without pre determined bias, what do you really read. Compare this with what the media have said. You’ll see. Then explore the rest

What I can't believe is the absurd courtroom theatrics that appear to be nothing more than a perverse game played by very well-paid men.
This case has exposed just how dysfunctional our justice system can be. Evidence and reason must belatedly come to the rescue. (6/6)

Has it dawned on anyone that in the @lucyletby case, there was no covertly obtained evidence. It’s very likely that covert tactics were used but they did not produce any evidence. I expect that’s because she’s innocent

The thing with #lucyletby case is that there’s just so little evidence. As an ex cop, you get a feel for someone even if the evidence didn’t stack up in court. With LL, there’s nothing, no smoking gun not even smoke without fire Shes no risk, let her out now whilst this is sorted
So, the original jury deliberate for days & fail to even reach a majority on baby K. In the 2nd trial, they unanimously reach decision in an hr - with a key witness stating he saw LL do nothing. I wonder how the judges direction referring to pre-cons impacted the jury #lucyletby
Does anyone know if Cheshire constabulary have self referred to the IOPC as regards #lucyletby
