Five months ago, Mr @UNReliefChief challenged #ChangeTheCode to propose priorities for the next 6 months of the Humanitarian Reset
We've answered with a 2-page summary of our asks and a 13-page reform roadmap

Dear IASC Principals, as you shape the Humanitarian Reset, please make youth inclusion a priority.
The Cluster Simplification Guidelines and ABC ToRs recognise Women-Led Organisations and OPDs. We call for YLOs to be explicitly recognised on equal footing.

Mr. @UNReliefChief, our recommendations are on the table. Now, let’s turn them into action.

Mr. Tom Fletcher, we welcome your commitment to take the strongest elements to the IASC Principals.
Now, let's turn recommendations into action.

🌍 CERF has allocated US$160M to support 12 underfunded humanitarian crises, including US$10M for disability inclusion.
Now, turn funding into impact.
Donors and humanitarian actors must prioritise local leadership, inclusive delivery and accountability.

Fund locally.
Act inclusively.
Leave no one behind.

One year ago, we set out to Change the Code.
Today, we celebrate a growing movement for a more inclusive, accountable and locally led humanitarian system.

But this is only the beginning.
We are not just asking for a seat at the table.
We are helping redesign the table.
One year.
A growing movement.
The work continues.

A few highlights from our participation in @dihad 2026. 🌍
One message was clear: young people are already responding to crises. It’s time the system recognised, trusted and resourced them.

From Palestine to Zimbabwe, the conversation continues.
As part of our commitment to engaging young people across regions, #ChangeTheCode joined the Zimbabwe Youth Symposium on DRR to share our vision for a youth-responsive humanitarian system.
Different contexts.
One message: young people must help shape humanitarian decisions, not just respond to them.

Youth skills don't just shape futures they reshape humanitarian action
This #WorldYouthSkillsDay, we celebrate the innovation, leadership, and expertise of young people building stronger, more resilient communities
It's time to #ChangeTheCode #YouthLeadership #HumanitarianReset
We're excited that a member of the #ChangeTheCode team will be speaking at "Operationalizing Youth-Responsive Humanitarian Actions in Palestine" (8–9 July).
#ChangeTheCode #HumanitarianReset #YouthLeadership #Localization
We'll share insights from our engagement with 400+ young people and youth-led organizations across 40 countries, advocating for a humanitarian system where youth lead, influence, and shape decisions.

Meaningful engagement of young people also includes investing in their capacity to lead from the ground up.
Last week, the #ChangeTheCode team participated in the Youth Leadership in Emergencies (YLIE) 2.0 ToT in Arusha, Tanzania, organized by @ActionAid and Global Platforms.
Through simulations, storytelling, public narrative, preparedness, response, recovery, and peer-led learning, we strengthened our capacity to support youth leadership before, during, and after emergencies.
Special thanks to Bishal, Anjana, @tayiona_s, Lusekelo, and Chikondi for facilitating a truly participatory learning experience.
The future of humanitarian action depends on investing in young leaders today.
