This is devastating news
I saw this coming over a year ago...
Giving everyone access to AI didn't make ANYONE competent
It just gave incompetent people the ability to produce 100x more output
But this is just the pendulum swinging back.
Whenever a technology destroys the barrier to entry, the market gets flooded with amateurs.
Early guns let untrained peasants compete with archers who spent YEARS mastering their craft.
The first guns were also fucking terrible
But nobody went back to bows, guns just improved, and marksmanship became an elite skill of its own.
AI is in its musket era.
And AI video is next in line.
AI vids were cool in 2023
Now you cannot find a soul who likes them
The normies even have dedicated meme folders with shit like "your ai slop bores me"
In the increasingly near future, all video will be made with more human direction
And it will be unhated.
This is why we started building AI vid gens replacement over a year ago... (link in bio)

You can make any video you want from your phone after just a simple 1 minute setup.
No diffusion models.
No need to install extra apps.
No need for fancy hardware.
Render starts immediately on demand.
We at 67idea . com are already living in 2030.
The future is here.
.@wordgrammer and I have been saying this for the past 2 years and nobody understood our point until very recently 🥀

You can literally make HOLLYWOOD quality animations from a school Chromebook
This physically accurate black hole was rendered from a fucking Claude chat
-No Blender
-No H*ggsfield
-No $4,000 gaming PC
-No hours wasted learning to make a donut
Here's how you can create shit that belongs in Interstellar:
1. OPEN CLAUDE
Use Opus 5.5 and tell it what you want to animate.
It'll essentially be your personal VFX director.
Have it make the bones for:
-The actual scene
-Camera movements
-Lighting
-How the shot develops
2. GIVE CLAUDE RENDERING POWER
Claude can make good video itself, but it's not rendered animation
And your shitty school Chromebook isn't rendering Interstellar locally.
Connect Idea to Claude (will link in comments)
It builds the 3D scene, simulates the physics and renders everything on its own cloud GPUs.
Your laptop basically becomes the remote control.
3. REMAKE INTERSTELLAR
Now just tell Claude to use Idea to render your scene.
For this black hole, I told claude to do research on the real physics of a black hole and it's effects on light
But you can animate literally anything you want
You could even remake the Odyssey true to it's story...
These are animations you cannot make with an AI diffusion model, which you see all over the TL
Idea re-renders every little change while keeping the rest of the shot consistent
You get to finally go from an idea in your head to a REAL cinematic animation without having to succumb to producing AI slop
Do with this what you will...
We (@wordgrammer) built one of the only products with real moat, but it sounded too good to be true 🥀
We're still early
Few truly understand the future of SI
We have made hundreds of videos from our phones over the past few weeks.
No generative AI video.
Everything rendered from code.
Every edit done with precise intent.
This is the future of vibe coding.
No more shipping slop apps, only video maxxing now.

Few are thinking about the concept of "AI Slop" correctly.
To understand the phenomenon, we should take a look at the history of technology.
When guns were first invented, they were considered slop. You used to need to train for years to master archery. Now any untrained person could just point and shoot. The first guns were also inaccurate, slow to reload, and lacked the social status associated with being a skilled archer.
Guns transformed warfare. Mass-manufactured guns handed to drafted peasants in modern warfare replaced handcrafted bows used by the nobility in ancient warfare. We lost the aristocratic art of archery in exchange for accessibility to the masses.
Marshall McLuhan noticed that every new technology makes a previous technology obsolete, but it also enhances and retrieves even older modes of being from the past.
While guns replaced bows, they also brought back the communal, egalitarian mode of hunting of javelin-throwing hunter-gatherers. They tore down the social hierarchies associated with feudal aristocracy by lowering barriers to entry.
Then eventually, when guns reached their full potential, that democratization reversed, and marksmanship became its own elite skill inaccessible to the untrained.
Today, AI is following the same trajectory. The democratization of AI has led to an abundance of slop. Anyone can generate low-quality writing and images with a simple prompt.
Artists and writers are rightfully concerned about all the spam content created with AI, as well as models training on their work.
The average quality of online content has decreased in exchange for removing barriers to entry in content creation. The inexperienced masses who don't put in much effort will inevitably produce slop.
However, over time, new workflows will emerge where human skill, creativity, and effort will still matter for creating the highest quality content, with AI integrated into the process.
We are currently in the era of AI muskets, but eventually we will reach the age of AI marksmanship.
We are at the end of an era of gaming and few really understand the future implications.
Several things are at play:
1. Every turn-based game will have an engine that plays the game better than all human players days after release. This means
- We will see fewer of them being made
- Every turn-based game needing anti-cheat detection like @chesscom
- A return to playing in person
2. People are reverse engineering early access games. This means
- A decline in early access. Games will be published in full on release
- Proof of originality of your game. Possibly blockchain solutions or just clear very clear documentation on social media
- New copyright laws regarding cloned games
3. Most code is already written by AI. Labeling games coded with AI is pointless. Nobody cares if the code is written manually or by AI as long as it runs.
4. Diffusion models are NOT the same as LLMs. Games will be coded entirely with AI, but that doesn't mean that your assets need to be AI generated. People still appreciate hand-drawn art.
5. We need to think differently about workflows. Shaders are code. While your assets can be hand drawn, you can still greatly manipulate their appearances with code written by AI. However, this is different from diffusion model slop. The code still does real ray tracing, physics simulations, rendering, etc. This doesn't involved stealing from artists.
6. AI still sucks at writing prose. However, it's incredibly good at fact checking. You can have a harness that fact checks your own writing to make sure that there are no plot holes while still writing the final version of the prose manually.
7. When you put all this together, much of your game development process will be AI assisted, but human touch is still needed during key parts of the process. If you genuinely have passion and attention to detail, you can create much better games than ever existed before. Leverage what AI is best at, but don't outsource your creativity.
8. Much of what makes a game good is actualizing your unique vision (the devil is in the details) and doing lots of playtesting to figure out what people enjoy. AI could never replace that.
Tim is right. Steam's AI disclosure rule is abhorrent.
I recently shipped an AI-assisted game, and that label doesn't help anyone pick a game. It's a target. It tells the angry mob exactly where to send the review bombs.
Nobody discloses which engine, which brushes, or which plugins they used. AI gets singled out for one reason: so devs can be punished for using it.
Electricity generation per capita is the only real economic measurement.
It's an objective physics measurement.
Everything else can be manipulated by economists and bankers.

This is what runners have been doing for decades, then X came along and said you only need to do HIIT, or you only need to do Zone 2.
ALL ZONES training for the win, weighted for your strengths and weaknesses. Note: if you're a normal person aiming to get fit and fast, you have more weaknesses than strengths, maybe no real strengths at all.

Love how the AI industry just kind of internalized “we are not cool” and “the 18-24 yr old market hates us” and instead tried to will into existence consumer apps for 35-yr-olds

I've never trained for looks or physique. It's always been about performance, whether that was strength, Olympic lifting, CrossFit, running, etc. Over the years I've developed a pretty good physique but it's never been my goal. Not saying it shouldn't be your goal, but just because you don't look ripped and vascular doesn't mean you're not healthy or fit. How you look is just one part of overall health and fitness. What matters much more is how you feel and perform day to day.
Glute exercises ranked according to me:
S: Sprinting, Hurdles, Triple jumps, Broad jumps
A: Vertical jumps, Flips, Squats, RDLs, Split squats, Lunges, Pistol squats, Glute bridge, Clean, Snatch, KB swings, Jump (split) squats
B: Skipping, Rowing
C: Calf raises
D: Machines
Glute exercises ranked according to me:
•S tier: hip thrust, reverse lunge
•A tier: squat, RDL, leg press (with high foot placement), walking lunge, Bulgarian split squats
•B tier: seated abduction, step ups, 45 degree hypers
•C tier: cable kickbacks
•D tier: cable pull throughs (unless ur pregnant & then those are A tier)
•F tier: using only booty bands
When optimizing for peak power and glute activation, triple jump is unmatched for single leg eccentric and ballistic loading in the horizontal direction. They are the freakiest athletes in terms of raw weight to power output.
