The 3.0 V6 Ranger Platinum has gone, and has been replaced by a rather striking Cyber Orange Ranger Wildtrak X with the 2.0 bi-turbo and if I’m being completely honest, I kind of prefer it in every way. I still need to get a few miles in though before I can really make my mind up
Personal post time:
Today was my first ever face-to-face therapy session. I’ve tried other styles including CBT and others, but I genuinely feel that sitting in front of a stranger and truly opening up for the first time is a wonderfully cathartic thing.

I really missed a trick last week with the Mach-E GT 🤦
I wonder how many people in the early 20th century missed the “visceral experience” of their horse and cart? 🤔
Review of the 2023 Ford Ranger Raptor might finally get written and go live in the next week. Life has been very busy and to be honest, motivation has been near to non-existent.

An incredible number of car fire experts have come out of the woodwork this week. And they all seem to be wearing tin foil hats…

There are few things more depressing than sitting in a Jaguar dealership in 2023. The brand feels so unloved, even by JLR themselves…
There are few cars as uncomfortable as @Tesla Model 3s and Ss in the back. For passenger cars, they really aren’t made for actual passengers…
Driving around the villages near where I’m staying in the Dordogne - it’s like a wonderful French time-warp for cars. Mk1 Lagunas, old Peugeots, Citroen AXs everywhere. I wish I could take them all home!
Drove over 1,000kms yesterday from Cambridge to The Dordogne. Was dreading it with the little A3 packed up to the roof with luggage and stage tech equipment. Turns out it was bloody fantastic and didn’t miss a beat. Good little car!
