In an Akwa Ibom where 80% of mini bus drivers are graduates in professional fields, waking up early to hit the road for daily bread. The average worker trying to get to work by 8am by either trekking, or jumping on a keke all for 50 to 70k at best. Young secondary school….

Story time. This lads & lasses is the story of how the YOOUESAY, threw a fit about a Private military contractor called Executive outcomes, totally outclassing US funded terrorist groups like UNITA in Angola. Notice how black water are besties with the DOD? Anyways.
Blackwater founder, Erik Prince, asked Pope Leo to fund his private army to protect christians in Nigeria

😂 Let’s simplify these once and for all 👇🏾 1. Noun phrase - a group of words acting as a noun. *The big dog* barked. (“The big dog” = noun phrase) 2. Adjectival phrase - describes a noun. The house *with red doors* is mine. 3. Adverbial phrase - tells how, when, or where something happens. She sings *with passion*. 4. Noun clause - a clause acting as a noun. *What you said* made sense. 5. Adjectival clause - describes a noun but has a subject + verb. The girl *who smiled* is my friend. Once you get the logic, it becomes much easier 😅
“Adjectival phrase ” “Adjectival clause” “Noun phrase” “Noun clause” “Adverb clause” I still don’t know them

my dad was a fucking rocket engineer who taught me something that made me RICH wasn't some soft ass "believe in yourself" bs it was QUICK MATH (keep reading it's saucy) this man ran calculations for missile trajectories in the military. could tell you impact coordinates in his head while other guys needed computers. but he'd say "close enough is better than perfect too late" "347 divided by 45? about 7. move the fuck on." he'd make me calculate brutal equations instantly. not perfectly. INSTANTLY. because in real situations perfect math gets you killed while you're calculating meanwhile you common folk are sitting with your calculator app making sure you got the EXACT answer while opportunities are flying past at 1000mph this is why you're easy to kill in business... you're trying to be PRECISE when you need to be FAST business decision? you want 22 spreadsheets and three consultants' opinions. your competitor already launched, failed, pivoted, and is banking while you're on slide 73 of your market analysis like some soft as baby shit analyst pricing your service? you're researching statistics for weeks. just pick a fucking number that scares you and TEST IT. wrong? change it tomorrow. you lost one day not six months. "but what if i'm wrong?" YOU WILL BE WRONG YOU FUCKING MORON difference is i'm wrong in 5 seconds and correct in 10. you're still thinking about maybe being wrong next year while i'm already counting money my first agency? picked price out of thin air. $5k/month felt insane. someone paid instantly. raised to $10k next day. then $20k. found the ceiling in 3 weeks. you would've surveyed 100 people and ended up at $2k because that's what the statistics said was "reasonable" quick math beats perfect math EVERY FUCKING TIME hiring? meet them, trust your gut, done. "but what about background checks..." shut up. you know in 10 minutes if someone's solid or soft as baby shit. everything else is corporate theater. launching products? ship at 70% and fix it live. "but what if..." what if you die waiting for perfect? at least i'm getting paid while fixing bugs instead of perfecting something nobody wants. here's what overthinking really is: FEAR dressed up as intelligence you're not being thorough. you're being a PUSSY, you want spreadsheets to blame when shit fails instead of owning your decisions like someone who isn't easy to kill fuck your process. 347 divided by 45? about 7 should i hire this broad? she seems hungry? hired. should i fire this client? they annoy me? gone. should i raise prices? feeling poor? doubled. CLOSE ENOUGH IS GOOD ENOUGH perfect is for common folk who die with perfect plans. done is for killers who die with results. i watch people spend 6 months on business plans that are worthless the second reality hits. my business plan was "make money." took 2 seconds. still works. you know what matters? VELOCITY not accuracy. 100 decisions at 70% accuracy beats 10 decisions at 95% accuracy. because those 100 decisions taught you what actually works while your statistics are still theoretical my competitors still calculating unit economics while i've tested 20 offers and found the one that prints. they have better spreadsheets. i have better everything else. quick math principle applies to everything: relationships? you know in 10 seconds if a broad is worth your time. stop needing 6 months of data to "be sure" investments? thesis makes sense and founder isn't soft? send it. your due diligence is just procrastination with a fancy name opportunities? someone offers you something that could work? say yes figure it out later. "but the statistics say..." statistics are for people easy to kill here's the truth: your best educated guess RIGHT NOW beats your perfect answer NEVER because while you're calculating, killers are DOING. while you're analyzing statistics, they're creating them. while you're planning, they're already celebrating. 347 divided by 45? about 7. good enough. NEXT. that's the yegor method. quick math. violent execution. adjust on the fly. everything else is mental masturbation that common folk use to feel smart while staying broke my dad could calculate missile impacts in his head but knew "close enough" beats "perfect too late" a "close enough" nuke skill decimates a city. a nuke that never launches does ZERO now make that fucking decision you've been sitting on. your gut already knows. stop pretending you need more data. study the yegor method.

You asked me a simple question. Instead of giving you a simple answer, I started my rambling with the story of the Igbo Landing in 1803 - then continued my rambling for another 7 mins. I apologize. Hashing out these realities this way is the only thing keeping me sane.

@UnkleAyo I greatly applaud your efforts in speaking up. But sir, I ask as an undergraduate here in Nigeria what do you suggest we do? I have contributed my part as a young citizen to help my niche, indirectly these policies are affecting our vision for a better Nigeria.

The matrix is an unforgiving clusterstack of mazes. From the Nigerian viewpoint, it is woven by the trifecta compact of Religion, Politics & Culture. None of these beams from the trifecta can function by itself. Religion needs politics, politics needs culture. All of these beampoints are important for the Nigerian people to remain a certain way, for Nigeria to work - for some people. Let me ask you this question: Why do you think certain Christians get abroad and stop going to church altogether? It is because they discovered that most of the requests the Nigerian church made us pray for, are basic amenities we lacked because of terrible governance. The church has a market to sell, which is the merchandise of hope but for that merchandise to be relevant, the political beampoint has to do its part - keep policies in place that make sure the people keep seeking hope. If policies work, everything runs, the ordinary Nigerian can feed, provide and slowly scale upwards the Maslow's hierarchy of needs - the hopeless wouldn't need the church. If wicked policies run long enough, sometimes the hopeless might seek to speak up - that's where tradition and culture comes in. They create a taper of morality that forbids rebellion. Sometimes they work hand in hand with religion but the goal is simple - make sure people don't and can't speak. Trap them under the guilt of rebellion. Repeatedly echo that leaders are "appointed by God". This my friend, is the machinery that has ensured the wheels of the weaponization of poverty run smoothly. This is not a post condemning politics, religion or culture - it is an eye opener indicating how they're instructive in a social experiment that keeps people chained. Fire is good - good to cook, good to warm but fire once razed down the entire city of London. This is my point. Religion is one of the paradoxical social tools that has entrenched into the fibres of our humanity. As much as it is designed to enforce good, it's been responsible for a lot of bad. As much as it liberates, it imprisons. It unites communities, while demonizing others. The destructive part about the matrix is that, it is not forceful. Despite its design, it makes you feel like you're willing participants. As long as you're within, you'll think you're wearing bangles - but people outside the matrix can see visible chains. So yes brother, I am free. Ideologically, mentally, politically free - but with freedom comes knowledge and most times, knowledge can be a burden because ignorance is bliss.

The world has gotten harder, and it’s only getting harder. Your parents married at 27 or less, you’re struggling to afford marriage at 30. They raised a family of 4 on one monthly salary, you’re juggling three side jobs and it’s still not enough. So give yourself a break. Forgive yourself. You don’t have to pretend to be okay. Most of us aren’t and that’s alright. Some days will be messy. Some days, “I’m fine” is the only reply you’ll have. Let that be enough.

Subtle ways to identify the real nature of humans, very useful if you're dating or doing business with them: 1. How they treat strangers especially those they deem beneath them like cleaners or waiters in a restaurant.

In 1997 when we were preparing to deploy the A-Jets to Sierra Leone, the pilots for the Sierra Leone operations were drawn from Kano, Yola and Kaduna and were made to undergo some recurrence and simulated combat training missions at 99, Air Combat Training Group in Kainji. On one of such recurrence flights, Okejuju and I flew to Kaduna to practice some instrument approaches and landings. On arrival at the Kaduna military airfield, we commenced the usual approaches and after about three of such approaches, the Air traffic controller called to inform us that our exercises were disrupting the flying operations of the student pilots who were equally training with the air beetle aircraft. He subsequently instructed that we vacate the airspace for the young pilots and come back after about 25 minutes. In his words: "Aggressor 01, please work northwards and return to continue your approaches after twenty-five minutes". The call sign. Aggressor 01 was always reserved for the Commander of the unit or whoever was the Air Component Commander.

He's not actually shiit, but I agree with you. I prefer the former Enzo to the current one. He offers so much more when he assumes the deeper role than he does in his current role. Sadly, most chelsea fans won't see it that way as they're focused on goals and assists.
This is Enzo The current one is Sh!!!t

The paradox of life always baffle me. Bitter stuff mostly indicates healthier. Black charcoal whitens the teeth. The more you try to sleep, the harder it is. Silence can be deafening. To lead well, you must serve. To find yourself, you must lose yourself.

There are complexities we don't talk about enough in intimate relations. A relationship ends after 5 years, and you're expected to move on. It is not easy, but you know it is the right thing to do, especially where toxicity and violence sometimes intercept. The problem is, you cannot erase the memories you shared with your Ex for those 5 years - the daily routine, the outings, their presence that lifts your spirit, the thousand sex you had, the songs you vibed together, the inside jokes and the bad dances you shared, - even their annoyances. The crazy part is that, even if they were toxic or abusive, you still miss them. Like Colleen Hoover said, "the hardest part about ending an abusive relationship is that you aren't necessarily putting an end to the bad moments. The bad moments still rear their ugly heads every now and then. When you end an abusive relationship, it is the good moments you put an end to." Yes, he slapped you for driving his car while he was sleeping. But he ordered your favourite meals everyday for 2 weeks to apologize, he gave you massages after work, he was at your beck and call to show he was sorry. He let you win when you play ludo. When you finally decided to have sex again, he blew your mind away. Generally, he is a good person, very thoughtful, made you feel like you were living in a dream, very handy and responsible at home, his face lights up when he sees you, and you always looked forward to going to his place where you were always welcome even without informing him that you were coming. Even when you fought, they were passionate because you both fought for love and to protect the relationship. He is loving, but it's been 12 slaps in 5 years. You had to forgo the opportunity cost of enjoying those beautiful memories if it means you never get to be slapped again over a disagreement. . . . Now you have to deal with moving on to a new person and creating new memories - memories that compete with the ones you created with your Ex, and personality that clashes with your Ex's with every visible room for comparison. They may not slap you but the new memories are harder to create or commit to because you're accustomed to how your Ex did it, and when you make love with your partner, you close your eyes and think of your Ex. In the moments you are alone, you pray to the god of Okafor that you don't run into your Ex and he wouldn't text because you know that you cannot reject him and an opportunity to recreate those memories - the kind of memories that slaps, not on the face but the butt. The kind that moans into the night sky and wake up to the scent of him on the pillows.
