The Happy Lab is hiring multiple PhD students for Fall 2025! RT appreciated :-)
We discover how human factors can 1) mitigate ML-enabled abuse (deepfakes) and 2) be harnessed with ML-powered security to create safe, human-centric systems!

The first step in exploring a research direction is always to read related papers. I have found it beneficial to categorize and summarize existing papers, as this helps in nailing down concrete research projects and addressing questions like, "Why not include this paper?" or "How does your work differ from this work?". Together with my collaborators, we have curated a series of paper lists for the areas we have been working on. To benefit the broader community, I (upon the approval of other contributors ) decided to make some good ones public. Starting with this one on the security and safety of LLMs. If you are interested, check it out at: henrygwb.github.io/posts/llm…

Tried this #ChatPDF with my paper.
It’s good at understanding the high-level idea.
But it was wrong with some details.
Surprisingly, after a few rounds of guidance, it got correct.
A minor issue is the first reply is French and tried another paper and it replies in Chinese.
