Please plan to join us for a #FacebookLive tomorrow, Tuesday, December 6th, at 1pm, to hear from our Animal Services Director regarding our ongoing 𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲 issues. Find us on Facebook at WilliamsonCountyAnimalShelter.

#PetsOfTheWeek 🐶 Jarobi has stolen our hearts ❤, and we think he’ll steal yours, too. Clearly he’s adorable & goofy & generous. He offers up his favorite squishy toy when you visit his kennel. What more could you want? How about FREE? An #AdoptionAngel 😇paid his fee for you.

#FosterFriday - Sweet, gentle Lincoln is looking for someone to love him forever. Lincoln is reported to be house-trained and he loves to spend time with his person. This guy's a great companion for someone wanting a chill buddy. An #AdoptionAngel 😇has paid his adoption fee!

We wish you all a happy #Thanksgiving. We are closed today so that our staff can celebrate with their families. Maximus wants you to know we are open again tomorrow for normal business hours of noon-6pm. He's hoping you'll choose him as your new best friend for #BlackFriday .

We are also #thankful to all of you for helping us achieve a 97% #SaveRate. We've been over capacity for months now, and it is because of the adopters, the fosters, the rescues, the volunteers, the donors, and the staff that we have been able to maintain our life-saving mission.

Today we are #thankful for donations to #JanesFund, so that we can help sweet kitties like Pig get the surgery or care they need. If you'd like to help us continue to do that, consider donating to Jane's Fund, our medical fund. Go to wilcopets.org to help!

#PetsOfTheWeek 🐱 Matty is waiting on you to come meet him before he dozes off for a nap in his snuggly blankie. Email [email protected] to schedule an appointment to meet him before he purrs off to sleep.

#PetsOfTheWeek 🐶Carob finds himself looking for a new home after his previous family moved. He's a friendly guy, does well with other dogs & played well with the child in his former home. He's reported to be house trained, loves toys & his favorite thing is to be by your side.

Thank you to our friends at First Methodist Church of Round Rock for hosting a donation drive for the dogs & cats AND raising funds. The animals send out woofs and purrs of thanks!

🆘🆘🆘#StatusUpdate 🆘🆘🆘This week's update is not good. Not at all. For 6 of the past 7 days, we have taken in double-digits of animals. We currently have 199 dogs in the shelter. Our ideal number of dogs is 110. 𝐖𝐄 𝐍𝐄𝐄𝐃 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐇𝐄𝐋𝐏 𝐍𝐎𝐖!

#FosterFriday - Ginger's an old gal who's looking for someone to spend her golden years with. A donor has agreed to aid in any medical expenses that might arise for her! Ginger deserves a loving home to retire to. If you'd like to meet this super senior, email [email protected].

Attention dog 🐶 lovers! Attention fire fighter 👩‍🚒 fans! We've got the perfect calendar for you - the 2023 Williamson County Fire & Rescue calendar features some of our shelter dogs AND local fire fighters, and you can have one (or more - they'll make GREAT gifts!) for $15.
