The aviary at Hexthorpe Flatts Park has been vandalised and birds have been stolen / let free last night. Mindless and disgusting and caused a lot of distress to those that love the park and its aviary, the only one in the City. 1/2

“We can’t do the work if we can’t pay the rent.”
Charity workers who help the homeless are facing homelessness themselves.
In striking for fairer pay, @UniteAtShelter members are fighting to save the very future of the essential service they provide. Solidarity.
