We had a surprise visit to a #NewForest stream recently. This #Razorbill was recorded on a trail camera probably resting after some weather pushed it off course.
The Razorbill is a coastal seabird and would usually be found in marine or intertidal water.

Picked up the Forster's Tern flying in over the railway just after midday. Instead of doing its usual it headed off towards the west end where it landed with some Black-headed Gulls. The views were far better after a quick dash around the lake.

White-throated Needletail has been in my dreams for as long as I can remember birding! Having missed it yesterday, it exceeded all expectations this lunchtime with an extraordinary display over Scarborough Castle.

What an absolutely mental day birding in Tory, Co Donegal. 3 megas. Grey cheeked thrush followed by a self found red eyed vireo (3 total birds on the island). Then on arriving back in Magharority 2 Harlequin ducks! Absolute madness!

Watching the Siberian Thrush at Asta, Tingwall, Shetland this afternoon. If we all had fishing rods in our hands whilst standing in that loch, folk would think we were completely normal.
Funny old world…😉

Pipit ID anyone? I thought maybe Tree? From the west side of Trow this morning. Didn't behave like a Meadow, mega flighty and no call in flight. Best I could manage pic wise.
