Yesterday in Iowa, a wrong way police chase ended with two innocent people dead after a poorly timed and poorly executed PIT maneuver pit innocent drivers at risk. The Iowa media won't show the moment of impact, even though Iowa DOT doesn't require censorship. But I will.

🇺🇦🇷🇺 PUTIN’S OIL INDUSTRY IS UNDER ATTACK, AND ZELENSKYY SAYS UKRAINE ISN’T FINISHED
Ukraine is keeping the pressure on Russia’s refineries, and Zelenskyy says Moscow is already feeling the consequences.
He has promised further long-range strikes, warning that distance from the Ukrainian border will not guarantee safety for Russia’s war-related infrastructure.
The strategy goes beyond damaging individual facilities. Oil revenues help finance Moscow’s invasion, while refineries supply fuel essential to its military operations.
By targeting that infrastructure, Ukraine is forcing Russia to confront the economic and logistical costs of a war it expected to fight largely on Ukrainian territory.
And Zelenskyy’s latest warning leaves little room for ambiguity: Ukraine intends to keep extending the reach of its strikes.
Putin may control the size of Russia’s territory. That doesn’t mean he can keep its war machine beyond Ukraine’s reach.

🇺🇸🇷🇺‼️ FORMER U.S. ARMY EUROPE COMMANDER BEN HODGES ACCUSES TRUMP OF BEING UNDER PUTIN’S INFLUENCE, SUGGESTING HE MAY HAVE BEEN “BOUGHT”!
Retired U.S. Lieutenant General Ben Hodges has made a serious allegation against President Donald Trump, claiming that the American president is under pressure from Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“It is absolutely clear that President Trump is under some kind of pressure from Vladimir Putin. I think he was simply bought.
Trump now has two options. He can acknowledge his dependence on Putin, or he can try to avoid accountability in the hope that his successor will protect him.
We have never had a perfect president. But having a president who is not only corrupt himself, but also allows others to engage in corruption, is an unimaginable disgrace,” Hodges stated.
🔥 Hodges’ remarks represent a particularly direct accusation from a former senior American military commander.
His allegations raise questions about the Trump administration’s approach to Russia and Ukraine, although no evidence establishing that Putin has bought or controls Trump was provided in the quoted statement.

🇺🇦🇷🇺 28 UKRAINIAN ROBOTS ATTACK RUSSIAN LINES AS MOSCOW FACES A GROWING CRISIS ON MULTIPLE FRONTS
Russian military commentators are confronting an increasingly uncomfortable reality: Ukraine is finding new ways to fight, while the consequences of the war are spreading into Russia's own infrastructure and economy.
Near Lyman, Ukrainian forces reportedly deployed 28 unmanned ground vehicles in an assault without a single infantry soldier accompanying them.
The formation included 18 robots equipped with anti-tank launchers, two carrying automatic grenade launchers and eight explosive-laden vehicles.
Instead of exposing soldiers to direct fire, Ukraine sent machines into the battlefield.
Russian military channels have also acknowledged difficulties elsewhere. Rybar, run by former defense officer Mikhail Zvinchuk, described Ukrainian armored vehicles moving through contested territory south of the Vovcha River.
Another prominent Russian commentator, Colonelcassad, indicated that the pace of Russian advances had fallen from approximately 10 square kilometers per day to just 0.25.
The outlet Volya went further, estimating that Russian forces captured only seven square kilometers across the front during October, while Ukrainian troops consolidated positions and forced Russian units to respond to pressure on their flanks.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian military intelligence disclosed that a seven-week operation in the Sumy region carried the codename Operation Cheburechna, a reference to a popular fried pastry. The operation was described as recovering roughly 2.5 square miles of territory.
And the battlefield is only part of the story.
Ukrainian drones have continued targeting Russian oil infrastructure, including the Afipsky refinery near Krasnodar. Six refineries were reportedly attacked within six days, with Russian newspaper Nezavisimaya Gazeta citing economic damage equivalent to approximately 1% of GDP.
In Rostov, Governor Yuri Slyusar acknowledged that attacks had damaged port infrastructure, including quays and storage tanks, leaving the region's three ports with operations suspended.
Rather than simply requesting additional military protection, regional authorities are seeking tax relief and rent concessions to keep businesses afloat.
The affected harbors are described as handling approximately a quarter of Russia's wheat exports, with permits due to expire on November 15.
The situation in Russian-occupied Crimea is also deteriorating.
Reports describe eight explosions at the Tavricheskaya power plant in Simferopol shortly after midnight, followed by a complete blackout. Local authorities are said to be preparing electricity rationing through physical coupons.
In Sevastopol, Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev acknowledged rapidly changing electricity conditions and offered residents subsidies covering 50% of generator costs.
Against that backdrop, Moscow's political priorities have produced some remarkable contrasts.
A sanctioned Russian official traveled to Washington to deliver Melania Trump a child's drawing bearing the words "I love Melania."
Meanwhile, presidential adviser Elena Yampolskaya promoted replacing pizza in Russian schools with traditional Russian pies.
Even pro-war commentator Kolyasnikov mocked the initiative, contrasting the campaign against pizza with Crimea's electricity crisis.
The contrast is difficult to ignore.
Ukraine is experimenting with robotic assaults, contesting territory and striking infrastructure deep inside Russia, while Russian officials face disrupted ports, damaged refineries and electricity shortages.
Moscow can continue promoting its preferred version of the war. But keeping ports operational, refineries producing and the electricity flowing is a much harder test of reality.
