Something's clearly in the air. I've gotten more inbound from founders looking for X ghostwriting in the last 30 days than I have in the preceding 10 months. But I don't think done-for-you X ghostwriting works anymore. If you're looking for help on X, here's what to do instead: First, you have to understand what you really want. I hear this all the time: "I'm looking for someone to get me from 1k to 10k followers." Unfortunately: 1. Follower count doesn't matter anymore. Look at my account. ~97k, but my posts have extreme variance. Most posts have dozens of likes, then occasionally I hit a banger. 2. The algo is hit-driven now Done-for-you ghostwriting assumes consistency is the primary blocker to growth. But you can't just post consistently and get impressions growth anymore. It's necessary but not sufficient. You need to post bangers. Which leads me to: 3. Bangers are either timeless or timely The way done-for-you ghostwriting works is: - I interview you for 30-60 mins - I extract good ideas and post them for you This approach is guaranteed not to be timely, and (most of the time) not guaranteed to be timeless either. Even timeless posts have to be in dialogue with the discourse currently on X. Randomly posting into the void doesn't work. So what actually works? For posting: internal transformation via coaching. Meaning: getting out of your own way so you can post on X in your natural voice. I've worked with dozens of ghostwriting clients in the past. And in past iterations of the algorithm, I've had great success. I don't do it anymore. I do know the pattern across clients is inevitably one thing: fear. People who "need help with X" actually just need help getting over their posting fears: - my thoughts aren't any good - what if I piss people off - it's so cringe - etc. That's why clients look for done-for-you ghostwriting. It helps them avoid all these negative feelings. But here's my analogy: posting is like eating broccoli. No one can force you to do it if you hate doing it. A ghostwriter can transform it for you--mash up the broccoli, roast it, cover it in cheese--but if you hate eating broccoli, you will fail at eating broccoli. If you hate the idea of posting on X, you will fail at posting on X. Simple as. The simplest way to enjoy posting on X? Use X as a social network. Not as a newsletter, not as one-to-many broadcast system, not as a product marketing channel. But literally as a social network. Use X to interact with ideas you like, people you like, companies you like. "Authentically." By which I mean, without thinking about it. Seeing X as a solvable objective is paradoxically self-defeating. Just like having friends. If you treat every friend you make as a means to an end: "This person will invite me to the Hamptons. That person will advance my career." You will have shallow friendships. But if you enjoy your friendships as they are, for what they are, with no further judgment or motive, then you will have fun. And ironically you will make more and better friendships. X is the same way. If you enjoy using it, it will bear fruit for you. Now go forth and post. h/t @adam__xyz for the inspiration

“adapted for television” is a stretch, one episode down and it’s clearly adapted for short form video 95% of shots are dead centre the rest at thirds and clearly framed for vertical the sloppification of carrie is a tragedy

i was asking my agent to find me things to get rejected from and the first thing it hit me with was "lets get started on your yc application" i dont want to play this game anymore
A girl just said she tried to get rejected 1000 times in 2025 and ended up being cast in plays, winning pageants, securing hella paid brand deals, and appearing in commercials. This is your sign to chase rejection to the point of "accidental" success. You'll be surprised.

Blondes, on average, have the highest IQs among white women, meaning the "dumb blonde" stereotype is completely wrong. Or maybe blondes (not all blondes, of course) are pretending to be dumb for the sake of signaling—"I'm so pretty, I can get away with being a ditz."

A naive (but imo worthy) attempt at explaining to my twitter frens what's happening in cheeseland Basically rioters complains about cost of living (french wages are particularly low and if you visited Paris or french Riviera you know how life can be expensive), public services worsening everyday (less and less budget for them) and a feeling of political abandonment (which is imho fair, it's a long and complex topic but France is sadly a lost cause) These believe it or not, "planned" protests are a follow up to original yellow vest movement, and the recent highschooler protests from last week's As you all know, on internet and especially social medias, sensationalism works best, rage bait generates the most clicks, and obviously you'll have a much harder times seeing the part of protest that were peaceful and organized Problem is obviously a bunch of people will take advantage of the situation and of the police inability to handle the situation (that are also understaffed, see public services above) and their legitimate fear for escalation So yes as usual, kids from the hood will take their chance at looting the local LV Dior Gucci and whatnot store to get a new bag and pair of shoes If it was only that I would personally not care much Obviously I can hardly express how heartbreaking it is to see beautiful buildings representing France history like Limoges townhouse, that survived both world war just to be burnt down to ashes by a bunch of retards In an even more naive attempt at helping you understanding it's a complex topic, I'd like to say that you cannot intellectually sum up these headlines by : - "have police tried shooting one ?" (Last time they did 2-3 weeks of that shit followed up) - "it's just niggers"/"migrants did this"/ "mass immigration did this" As I for one have a lot to say about unregulated mass immigration, and believe it's doing more harm than good in France, I'd like to remember that 99% of these kids are french, their parents also are Yes I know you're going to tell me that they don't fit you guys description of a french, but I'd like to remember especially Americans, that for most of you, your parents doesn't "look American either", you're sons and daughters, of Irish British Asian European African descendants, and nationality is not about how you look One thing we can agree on is that if you don't respect the country that fed and educated you, why the fuck are you still there, and if you plan on burning things down and assaulting citizens you should meet the consequences If any DeFi dev has spare time to work on the present instead of the future of France, feel free to change your line of work You'll be severely underpaid but the food is great
