What happens to unclaimed Creator Fees?
→ 💛 Giggle Academy
We're introducing a 21-day claim window for creator fees across all WIRED launches, applying retroactively to existing tokens and to all future launches.
Here's how it works:
21-Day Countdown
Every eligible creator will see a claim countdown in the WIRED Explorer. Once they verify their social media account and connect a wallet, the countdown disappears, and all future trading fees will continue flowing to them without any time restriction.
The fist claim windows expire in 5 days.
Unclaimed Fees → Giggle Academy
If a creator doesn't verify within 21 days, their outstanding BNB fees will automatically be donated to @GiggleAcademy. The Explorer status will update to "Wired to Giggle," and those fees will no longer be claimable.
Why the change?
Until now, unclaimed creator fees remained in the protocol indefinitely, often accumulating in wallets that might never be claimed.
We explored alternatives, including a 90-day claim period followed by buybacks or community rewards. Ultimately, we decided those funds could serve a greater purpose: supporting education through Giggle Academy.
Our commitment is simple:
70% of creator fees belongs to the named creator. WIRED will never keep this creator allocation. Once the creator verifies their account and binds a wallet within 21 days, the full allocation is secured for them. If the deadline expires, that 70% is converted to BNB and wired to Giggle Academy after swap and network costs.
The remaining 30% funds the $WIRED flywheel.
Every creator allocation reaches one of two destinations: the verified creator or Giggle Academy.
Every fee gets WIRED somewhere.

WIRED checks the creator identity recorded at launch before binding a payout wallet.
For a claim through a public post, the creator includes their compatible address and mentions WIRED or $WIRED. The community submits that post for verification.
Which part of the claim flow would you like us to show next?

Your community can launch a token for your work through wiredup.app.
To claim creator fees, publish a $BNB Smart Chain-compatible wallet address in your bio. A community member can trigger verification, which checks the profile identity recorded at launch.
Your public profile becomes the place to publish your payout address.

The person who launches a social token on WIRED receives 15% of the fees under the standard split.
The verified social recipient gets 70%, while 10% buys back and burns $WIRED. The remaining 5% covers transaction costs.
Who would you launch for?
2/5
A creator can receive fees from a WIRED launch by publishing a compatible wallet address in their profile bio.
Someone in the community then triggers verification from the token’s claim page.
That gives creators a way to receive their allocation through the profile they already use.

WIRED is the social layer for @flapdotsh and @BNBCHAIN .
Launch a token around a creator’s public profile, and WIRED routes their share of trading fees to them.
Whose work would you build a community around?

Introducing FLAP APPS 🦋
FLAP APPS is now live. Build and run custom apps on Flap’s infrastructure: your own launchpad, website, or entirely new product.
Meet the first app: ID Agent Curve
Create an Agent token and trade it by chatting with AI directly on Binance. Trading is exclusive to Agent ID holders.
• Custom Tokenomics: Set the token name, buy/sell taxes, and tax distribution.
• Agent ID Access: Non-transferable positions, capped at 2% per wallet.
• Bonding Curve: Buys push the price up; sells bring it down.
• Launch at 5 BNB: Once the net BNB pool reaches 5 BNB, buying on the Agent curve stops. The token launches on Flap, and holders can claim their launch tokens.
FLAP APPS gives builders a new way to bring their ideas onchain.

Bags and WIRED solve the same problem in two different ways: how does a creator prove that fees belong to them?
Bags asks the recipient to visit its website, log in, verify a social profile, and unlock the claim.
WIRED moves the entire proof onto the creator’s existing social account.
The creator publishes one BNB Smart Chain-compatible wallet address in their bio, or in a public post mentioning $WIRED. Any community member can then trigger the claim check.
WIRED verifies the exact social account recorded at launch, reads the canonical profile or root post, extracts the wallet, and binds it internally.
The creator never needs to:
• Open the wiredup.app website
• Create an account
• Follow a link from a stranger
• Connect a wallet
• Sign a message
• Authorize WIRED to access their social account
This gives creators a smaller trust surface and a familiar process. They publish from an account they already control while the community handles verification.
Our thesis is simple: creator-fee systems will see more claims when creators outside crypto can participate without learning a new platform or trusting a third-party website.
Permissionless claiming turns verification into public proof.
Comparison basis: Bags currently tells recipients to verify a social profile and log in to see or claim their earnings. We bypass all those sensitive steps.
A little more detail on how WIRED’s new permissionless creator claims work.
The creator identity is fixed when the token launches. The platform and account cannot be changed by the person running verification.
For profile verification, WIRED reads the canonical public bio and accepts exactly one BNB Smart Chain-compatible wallet address. The address alone is sufficient.
For post verification, the community submits the exact public post URL. WIRED checks the root post, confirms that it came from the creator account recorded at launch, and looks for:
• Exactly one BSC-compatible wallet address
• A mention of WIRED, Wired, wired, or
• A publication time after launch when the platform exposes a reliable timestamp
Replies, comments, quoted posts, URL parameters, redirects, and wallet addresses elsewhere on the page are ignored.
Anyone can trigger the check. The creator only publishes their preferred payout address and keeps the proof public until verification completes.
The result is a creator-fee claim that can be initiated by the community and verified against public social data. The creator never has to connect a wallet to WIRED or sign anything on the website.

What issue did all social launchpads face and never really find a solution for?
The fact that most people outside of crypto do not want to complete verification on a third-party website because they fear being scammed.
We found a solution: permissionless creator claims.
Creators never have to touch the WIRED website. They do not connect a wallet, create an account, sign a message, or trust a link.
All they need to do is publish a BNB Smart Chain-compatible wallet address:
• In a profile bio or About section, the address alone is sufficient.
• In a public post, include the address and mention WIRED or $WIRED.
The address can belong to a self-custody wallet, hot wallet, or supported exchange account. Coinbase, Binance, and other exchange deposit addresses can work when that exact address supports BNB Smart Chain and the payout asset.
Anyone in the community can trigger verification from the token’s claim page.
WIRED checks the creator identity recorded at launch, reads the canonical profile or exact root post, extracts the wallet, and binds it internally.
The creator publishes. The community verifies. Creator fees find their destination.
