Last week, @WTS_Org joined us at Metro HQ for Executive Women Who Move Metro Forward—a lively conversation on career growth, mentorship and breakthrough projects. We enjoyed hearing insights from women leaders across Metro! We’re looking forward to WTS International’s 50th anniversary conference, coming to Washington, DC, in May 2027.
Metro’s Crystal City East Entrance has won an Envision Silver Award for its resilient design, becoming the first public transportation station in the Mid-Atlantic to achieve this rating.
Set to open in spring 2027, the new entrance will enhance station capacity, accessibility, and safety while improving connections among various transit services.
The project includes an emergency exit, better access for first responders, and strategies for stormwater management and construction safety.
