We just came back from "Swept Away". I came to it amazed we'd see Adrian Enscoe, who is so strong an actor I'd love/hate him within seconds watching Dickinson. I was not disappointed, however we left marveling at the wonderful strong adept cast. We left as @SweptAwayFans.
Damian from @NordVPN just did outstanding job getting Nord working on mac and iPhone after I bollixed them on. Very patient guy. Great customer service
Half way through Lisey's Story. Thanks @StephenKing. Noticed, while backgrounding Lisey's Story, we are essentially same age, as well as our wives; and married essentially as long. Congrats on finding a Bud to journey with. It is good stuff.
Introduced my wife to Terriers, so she immediately recognized delights of seeing @donallogue and @MRaymondJames. I had forgotten wonderful acting chops of @Laura_AllenLA. Thanks all for well written, well acted, well edited gem of a series.
Many thanks Ellen for enabling the recent Nancy Drew movie. What a wonderful role model. Thanks. Please enable a follow-on series to wash away bad taste of current Drew series. @TheEllenShow @ellentube
This is glorious on so many levels. The key one is taking a problem, developing constraints and then moving to a solution: Well done Mark Rober: youtube.com/watch?time_conti…
While cleaning out our garage, I came across this memorable poster from our robotics booth at the first Maker Faire in San Mateo. Good Times!
Teresa Fisher Boardman captured my thoughts exactly "I am trying hard to picture my teachers with guns. They were scary enough with rulers." xitter.cf/MoGlamourpus/status/82…
I love the Dunedin sense of humor. This picture is for me. This picture is for Steve. – at Dunedin City, New Zealand
Kudos to @ericwastl for creating #AdventOfCode. I thought I was out, but they pulled me back in, after 4 idle (retired) years. and 24 days of coding, I still got something, though I am a humbled CS prof who's best was 187th fastest, with 1 problem as yet unsolved. Thanks Eric.
Just saw latest Star Wars in a theater. It was assigned seating and they were lazy boy recliners completely motorized. I figured these were the advances over the last 10 years of me not going to a movie theater. Turns out they just started a week or so ago
It truly rocked in 3D.
Had a great birthday meal for my wife; thanks to Sean, Abby, Cian, and Layla; but it really looks like I am ready to cue up for some new movie

This is for the folks I know that love cats. For those that don't, I am truly sorry if this is seared into your brain like a 1987 commercial: giphy.com/gifs/box-kittens-e…
Oh I dearly love the work of @JasonRitter. He may be my most watchable actor. Suspect I'd really enjoy knowing him. Anyway, as a professional corn purveyor, for 18 straight weeks at a time in my classes; I savor gnu work from colleagues. xitter.cf/JasonRitter/status/939…
Just When I Thought I Was Out, They Pull Me Back In! I thought I was done coding. Haven't done it for years. Some former students invited me to advent of code. Now I'm solving two problems a night till Christmas: adventofcode.com
A favorite quote I saw on the wall of a theater was "Love, as if you've never been hurt. Work as if you don't need the money. Dance, as if no one is watching." Today I saw a new favorite on the wall of The Dove: "I never lose. I either win or I learn". Thanks #lovethedove
I had wonderful unexpected moments, while taking a tour of the National Marionette Theater of Prague. I was allowed to operate the puppet Amadeus, who I think I heard speak to me. We just now got back from seeing him conduct Don Giovanni, who I also met earlier in the day.
Walking Budapest Chain Bridge came across Szabo, thought of Gabor from earliest college days, good times then & now:youtube.com/watch?v=5EjPgyE_…
