Skipping the problem space and jumping to the solution space too early, just creates problems (!) in the solution space from the beginning. Literally! Just saying... 💬☝️ #ux #design #uxdesign #customercentricity #uxresearch #productdesign

Get your "Jobs To Be Done"-job done right upfront, to minimize the likelihood to "fail fast" or (in the worst case) too late. 🚀 Just saying... #JobsToBeDone #JTBD #UX #Design #Research #Strategy #Product #UXDesign #UXResearch #ProductStrategy #UserFocus #CCVC #UXFTW #ODI

Because non-designers are used to stopping at the first idea, there is a short circuit from "this problem should be solved" to "and therefore we will solve it in the first way we thought of" without any further reframing of the problem or iteration on solution opportunities.

True. I would add that success in so many places is measured by how quickly the solution was shipped… discovery is under appreciated. “What’s the value of UX when we already know what we need to build?”

Great! Sometimes I also use "wrong" terms to introduce something, or I use the language of the ones I talk to, no matter how correctly or incorrectly the term is used...
The names of our processes can sometimes be the thing that keeps adoption low. Here’s a way to rethink that. buff.ly/3YUXFcO

This is something I keep noticing. Just because people say they would sign up if X feature/pricing was available doesn't mean they will. People telling you they want something is not validation.
