Zoom fatigue is a real problem for distributed teams. For us, more immersive collaboration on calls takes emphasis away from the gallery of faces and onto better work, limiting how weary we get of Zoom or Teams.
Zoom fatigue is more common if you're not happy with your face. New data: facial appearance dissatisfaction explains why Zoom fatigue is 15% higher among women than men and 11% higher among Asians than whites. You wouldn't work in a room full of mirrors. Turn off the self-view.
