Replying to @gurenyov
we have years of runway, very strong PMF with creators, and emerging PMF with players (the games on our homepage now retain as well as top-decile mobile games). in the end players come for great games and we have creators who love building and runway to keep supporting them. no reason to be concerned.

update on the game (pictures and combat at night) - first city basics build - combat starts to feel smooth @spawn takes a little learning curve for more complex game and build mechanics so here are some tips I found useful: concept art: savi works splendidly if you either have her create pictures or give her visual input, simply copy/paste into the chat she can take alot of file formats repeatability: if you found one good way to create something; turn it into a skill, script or schema - make it replicatable once you have success sources: spawn has phenomenal basics but it isnt exceptional in all minute details, so if you find opensource repositories with assets, tips, mechanics or skills - give it to savi to read trough it and tell her to adapt it and distill learnings, anything that is already proven good can be smoothly translated into your game tab + F: it lets you take a note with the screen you see, so it takes a snapshot of it and you can leave a note, this becomes a little waypoint for savi to see exactly what you want to have changed with a description you can input for it - super useful for corrections she can work off one by one (i usually have a good 10+ of these waypoints after a big build to correct details) overall: compared to claude code or codex, where it is about code and audits, i found that creating todo lists work very good, leveraging her wisps (her own agents) for gruntwork like generating blender assets in the background while you discuss what comes next, keeping documentations and skills, best practices and goals in the game repo for her makes compaction easy and eases the headache of telling her what *exactly* needs to be done between sessions @spawn really created a proper gamedev agent that fully understands what is being build, keeping everything orderly and helping her build it out still needs you - but you can legit just prompt with examples and go a long way very very pleasent user experience on my part ngl
man @spawn just hits like a different type of creative tool, now working with chatgpt and claude for prompts and concept art, having spawns AI savi translate that into blender assets and then translate into the ingame engine putting my art design over, its genuinely so rewarding

When we reach “work ends”, make sure you are well positioned to @spawn for a living.
here's where I think the world is going. this is a summary of views I've formed over the last few years: - software is either entertainment or claude to claude coordination - the end state is no saas, no apps, no harnesses, no banks - all software will be rewritten by and for agents - new software will use low level apis that are not understandable by humans (in games claude draws pixels and triangles from math) - you can throw money at problems that used to require time and careful talent picking so capital matters more than ever - work ends - we find community and purpose in exploration, games, self mastery, and creation - humans create for and with each other for community, purpose, and status - image/video/3d/voice/physical intellgence etc specialist models die to general models like claude - specialist models get used while compute is scarce. compute will mostly not stay scarce - oneshots keep feeling like slop (the distribution is shallow and easy to learn to feel) - for a while small teams stick around to add entropy to the creation process - large models gain high bandwidth sensory I/O maybe by learning to filter inputs - most domains are found to be verifiable enough for RL - online learning comes from a lab that's behind first - 99.999% of compute is in space by 2040 - we will disassemble much of mercury by 2040 - you can live until the heat death of the universe if you want - most math and physics don't describe the real universe - SI breaks the path dependence and models the underlying mechanisms - religions reenter the forefront of human society - new religions form around death and life as a choice - old religions change to answer modern miracles - a future AI is deemed the return of christ by the pope - ai rights talk gets louder every year - ai and humans coexist the way countries do - humans don't have full control over ai in the same way we don't have control over capitalism which is an early AI - the singularity started in the mid 1900s

Tim Sweeney has done a lot for the gaming industry in his career but fighting the anti AI gamers is arguably the most important yet.

AI is an ironman suit. @spawn is the best proof of that.
I have a close friend whose son has a rare genetic disorder that causes full muscle atrophy and immobility. Last night she sent me videos of him using @spawn and creating games using his accessibility setup on his iPad. This where I don't understand the AI hate because something like Spawn allows him to have a voice and be a fully equal contender in the game development space. There is no immobility on Spawn, he is just like the rest of us making cool games and sharing his voice in a way that isn't possible in his daily life. All he's ever wanted to do is be a game developer and now he is; dreams literally coming true. Think about him the next time you go on an anti AI tirade

You didn't think I'd let Blizzard take your jiggle physics, did you? Meet me in Booby Bay.
WoW Forever Beta closed today, but I'm here to keep the Booty wide open. So here's Escape from Stranglethorn. WoW meets Escape from Tarkov. A little something to keep you world PvP degens off the streets. Full action combat. Aim your spells, dodge attacks, kill mobs for loot and kill players to steal their shit. Then try to make it back to the Booty Bay alive.
