This is as scrotnig and zarjaz as announcements get - @PaddyGod1 teased a very exciting project on our show, and this did not disappoint! If we're back on air by the time it releases, maybe we could do a part 2 to learn more...? Hear the interview here: mixcloud.com/Writers_Reading…
And if you want to know a little more about the novel that @WalesArtsReview ranked among their #BestOf2022, you can hear the author @growriter talking about her process, inspiration and journey here in a very special episode of our show: mixcloud.com/Writers_Reading…
It’s that time of year again and we’ve had another excellent year for literature in Wales.
So today we’re taking a look at our favourite Welsh long-form fiction as we continue our look back at the #BestOf2022.

Wonderful to see @growriter's debut rightfully being ranked as one of the top 10 in long form fiction in Wales, alongside so many brilliant writers who we've covered and spoken to in the past! Go on Sophie!!! #BestOf2022 #WritingCommunity @writers_reading

ICWMI Our final episodes of this run of Writers on Reading were added to our channel on Friday, featuring the amazing Dr Emma Short and @HammadHRind, who kindly spoke with us about their new books from @parthianbooks and @SerenBooks! You can find them in the thread below... (1/?)
There we have it - the last episodes of our original run which can be uploaded! The rest are still available on @PenarthSounds channel here: mixcloud.com/penarthsounds/p… I'll be making a full list at some point so you can find them if you'd like, which I'll share on our Patreon. (9/?)

Feels weird to finally be able to say, but the @writers_reading archive is completed, along with two great interviews wi. Dr Emma Short +@HammadHRind! To reiterate the thread, thanks to everyone who's been kind enough to give us their time to talk about writing- it's been amazing
Phew. So. After a long day editing, remastering, uploading and the like, we can now say that every episode that CAN be uploaded to our channel HAS been. That means 8 episodes, but to make sure they aren't lost, we're focusing on our 2 new interviews this evening. Read on... (1/?)
...who, along with Hammad, Emma, Steven Lovatt and @FireflyPress made the last run of episodes so special. You can find all of their excellent episodes in a playlist here: mixcloud.com/Writers_Reading… As for what comes next for the show, that's not really clear yet... (9/?)
...but after a breather, and on some other site somewhere, Writers on Reading will be back! Until then, thanks to everyone who's followed us this far: we hope if you ever fancy a book recommendation you'll consider revisiting our finished archive: mixcloud.com/Writers_Reading… (10/10)
