I’ve run out of superlatives for this fucking company. Most impressive technical feat I’ve ever seen or will probably ever live to see.

In this moment of change and uncertainty it is more important than ever not to give any politicians money. I promise they will do fine without it.
Can’t believe how long it took to get the older person to move aside for the younger one after what seemed like any eternity of pleading, begging almost. But enough about Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri…

Joe and the dems are just going to sleepwalk the US into oblivion aren’t they? And they’ll throw their hands up and say ‘it wasn’t us’.
I can see how Ep1 of Season 3 of 'The Bear' could be divisive. I adored it. Second only to 'Forks' for me in the entire series so far. Christopher Storer is brilliant.
Best scene in a TV show this year? For me it's Mariko's conversation in the tea house with her husband in 'Shogun'. No blood, no katanas, but the deepest of wounds is laid bare. Transfixing.
The final scene of the finale of Hacks Season 3 is simply glorious. Acting, direction, editing, music cue. Glorious.
'Furiosa' has a couple of great action sequences but otherwise is a tangled mess. I love Anya Taylor-Joy but she doesn't bring the gravitas the role needs. Charlize was just inherently more intimidating. Way, way too long.
Can’t believe I’m saying this but I really, really liked ‘Sugar’. The strangeness of the finale did it for me.

Reese Witherspoon shares her thoughts on AI.
“It’s here to stay, so just get used to it. And I think AI is not coming for your job; people who know how to use AI are coming for your job. So learn about it. It should be a tool upon which we lay our own creativity, our own humanity and our own ethics. That’s a whole conversation — for women and people of color and people who are othered sometimes in those developmental spaces really need to get in there… let’s not be scared of it, let’s dive in.”

This site is superb.

Every lead role I saw Daniel Craig in before Bond, he knocked my socks off. Every lead role I’ve seen Aaron Taylor-Johnson in I thought he was actively bad. In ‘Godzilla’ he was a veritable charisma vacuum.
