Miami is spending over $1 Billion dollars on the dumb ass bridge on biscayne that has caused insane traffic and flooding for a half decade +. DeSantis used another billion dollars for flood defense on the Alligator Alcatraz concentration camp.

Florida has been in the stranglehold of Republican leadership for 3 decades.
And in that time:

I fought to stop DeSantis from using emergency disaster relief funds for political stunts like Alligator Alcatraz. Ashley Moody allowed it.
I raised the alarm and organized around the 50% cuts to FEMA. Ashley Moody was silent.
We purchased beds, donated money, supplies and food to hurricane survivors. Moody, while Attorney General turned the other way when insurance companies, her donors, denied claims to rebuild homes.

Ron DeSantis found a billion taxpayer dollars to build his private gulag. That, after having vetoed millions upon millions of dollars in drainage projects over the years, but only in blue parts of the state, supposedly due to budget concerns.
