I reckon NUFC is headed for the biggest summer of discontent since the Ashley era,
There’s definitely a feeling that the owners have checked out with constant leaks in the press/media that things are in the offing but then nothing happens,
Hopkinson/Wilson look like PR men.
I’m always dubious that these get paid out given the current climate with bookmakers.
🚨 Punter wins £997k from £4 corners accumulator
- Villa fan bet £4 on 12 EFL matches all exceeding 11.5 corners
- Bet won him a staggering £997,385 in total
- Started as a casual weekend accumulator with friends
- At half-time, several games showed worryingly low corner counts
- Reading-Barnsley had just one corner at the break
- Corners flooded in across all 12 games in the second half
- Oxford-Bradford had zero goals but 14 corners combined
- Didn't realise he'd won until half an hour after games ended
- Needed wife to confirm the amount, called it "emotional"
- Plans to pay off mortgage, buy a car, take a family holiday
Burn and Schar definitely steadied the ship and Dedic is a huge upgrade over Miley as a right back,
Hopefully this is a platform with this double header vs Everton upcoming.
Hopefully the 3 coming in at the back patch things up,
Would still like to have seen Bamba alongside Nico to free him up a bit as Joelinton hasn’t got that discipline.
They haven’t bitten this week which is an error but a comprehensive defeat on Sunday surely has to shift him.
Beautiful reference to the Mackem game here and the local weather,
It’s not just foreigners the southerners also think they are a suburb of Tyneside 😂😂
WEATHER UPDATE: According to TalkSport who think Coventry vs Fulham and Sunderland vs Leeds could be at risk...
Saturday’s games of Aston Villa vs Manchester City, Arsenal vs Everton and Chelsea vs Tottenham all appear to have escaped the worst of the weather.
Coventry vs Fulham at 3pm could be the most at risk on Saturday with heavy downpours and wing gusts of 44MPH expected around kick-off.
The inclement weather will continue into Sunday and there are five Premier League games in the schedule. Crystal Palace vs Newcastle would appear to be fine, but the other four games are taking place in the north of the country and could all be in trouble.
Hull vs Brentford, Liverpool vs Brighton, Manchester United vs Bournemouth and Sunderland vs Leeds will all take place under the yellow weather warning should they not be postponed.
Sunderland looks set to face the volatile conditions with winds of 63MPH being forecasted in Tyneside. While rain shouldn’t be an issue on Sunday, wind gusts are set to be at least 50MPH in Hull, Liverpool and Manchester too.

He’s having a good season but it still feels like he needs the opposition backline to playing high up over the half way line for him to be effective.
🚨 Anthony Elanga is set to return to the Newcastle squad for the trip to Crystal Palace on Sunday.
🗣️ Matthias Jaissle: “He has trained and worked really hard so I count on him for sure. He is hopefully now able to join the squad.”
#NUFC 🇸🇪
We favoured by the bookies for our 4th game in a row on Sunday which is madness given our form and performances,
Palace will batter us even on short rest because they need a response after the Brighton battering.
Slow news day at Talksport

Is #NUFC a big club outside of Newcastle...? 🤔
Simon Jordan and Sean Dyche don't quite agree on this one! 👀
