Did you know some lightning strikes up

In parts of rural England it's still common for people suffering with warts to be referred to wart-charmers when they see the doctor. There are many stories of successful curing, and it could only be based on magic. It seems charmers invariably have received passed down spells.

The impression of a normalness and an ordinary arises from habituated and conditioned thoughts which reinforce themselves, and not from what is actually out there.

Colin Wilson wrote that in Cornwall wart-charming is still widespread. Charmers know spells, which are specific incantations, that remove warts. They don't even need to see the person they heal, talking over the phone is enough. Wilson interviewed a man who was taught the spells.

In numerous traditions and systems the waking awareness is a small part of a much greater total self. The self is now like a series of disjointed parts which only rarely speak to each other. Like how dreams are only dimly remembered or intuitions are drowned out by mental noise.

Work and build the body to control the mind

It's interesting that precognitive dreams might sometimes only reveal probable futures. I read about someone who dreamt of attending their mother's funeral in the future and they had an overwhelming impression she'd die. Their mother was later diagnosed with cancer but survived.

There is such an acute system of control in this world because of how powerful certain individuals can become.

Robert Monroe said there used to be exact, specific techniques for prayer that were widely known and taught Gurdjieff said prayer discharged energy into the atmosphere and popular religious sites are especially charged because of the accrued energies from worshippers who pray

Investigating Mothman Keel received bizarre phone calls (even with a disconnected line) from robotic voices truly predicting future events like a disaster on the Ohio River and the killing of public figures. But they had vague or deceitful elements, like he was being messed with.

Ordinarily we experience not even a fraction of the energy and power that can potentially exist within ourselves.

Taking ordinariness for granted is like the dream self that thinks nothing of the dream's illogic and strangeness.

It is really impressive how a random sound or smell can instantly recreate for you the exact vibe and feeling of a past experience.

We can know the truth about anything immediately with intuition. It is essentially conscience and power. Discernment is also a power because it helps us track our intuition and follow it through intrusive thoughts and doubt.

When it was realized plants have electrical signals that give readings on polygraphs it was discovered their frequencies can entrain with a nearby person's heartbeat. Life makes order with synchrony. We have a biorhythm with the sun, two heartbeats can entrain before people meet.

Dopamine can be toxic and leave harmful residues in the body. This is how bad habits can literally have a drug-like effect. The body by itself, under the right conditions, can be as psychoactive as any drug.
