I embrace AI because I know the fun of public creativity and I don’t believe in treating artists as elite royalty. Everyone feels threatened when their jobs are taken over by tech. Protectionism is normal self interest, like unions. It just doesn’t produce excellence and prevents innovation, flow and dispersion.
