Xiaomi’s AI Cube is a big signal for the future of local AI.
This is not just another mini PC. Xiaomi is combining three custom Xring chips in a compact system designed to run large AI models locally.
Some numbers:
• Up to 150W of sustained performance
• 200 TOPS of AI performance from the Xring O3 NPU
• Up to 1.22 TB/s of near-memory computing bandwidth from the Xring O100
• Up to 160 GB of unified memory on the Xring D100
• Support for models up to 120B parameters in the AI Cube prototype, with the D100 architecture targeting up to 200B-parameter models
