Gioielleria Fasoli, a historic jeweller in Brescia, Italy, accepted USDC and received Euro! Using RIV X, it exchanged them for euro through RIV-Digital, an Italian authorized CASP under MiCAR.
Merchants who accept stablecoins have a practical need: to receive euro on their bank account, through compliant channels.
This is the first European commercial use of RIV X
The X represents exchange, reflecting the service at the heart of the product. The new identity puts RIV at the forefront as the project enters commercial operation.
