In February 1919, while at Besant Theosophical College in Madanapalle, Rabindranath Tagore translated Jana Gana Mana into English as "The Morning Song of India", a timeless ode to unity, diversity and eternal guidance across history's changing tides.
That's our India, our Bharat
We, the people of India — that is Bharatbarsha (India) — are the ultimate authority in a democracy. Hope the @ECISVEEP remembers that the final word always belongs to the voters.

16 lakhs were on the supplementary list. But the rightful voter deletion figure is 27 lakh or more.

Crazy scenes at Ramlila Maidan, it is already overflowing. Anger against Gyanesh Kumar is clearly visible - Gyanu has to go ✊🏼✊🏼

People who are busy debating "Animal" and "Toxic" are hardly talking about "Marco", a full-blown gorefest where the hero wields a chainsaw. Perhaps filmmakers need to seriously question what they are glorifying and selling in the name of cinema. And those who proudly flaunt their “Angry God” stickers should think twice before celebrating such graphic violence on screen. A little consistency wouldn't hurt.
This PDFILE psychopath called Hemanth alias Dummu from a village in Anantapur Dist in Andhra Pradesh, proposed to 14 yr old girl Gopika, she off course refused
He took a chain saw to her school and cut her neck and two legs of her friend who tried to save her
I donno why he is still alive and why he is not put down like a rabid dog. The videos that have come out are too painful and violent to be shared, but some how I feel too much of gore, violence and watching slasher horror movies also play a role in such things, at least i have never heard about chainsaw massacres in India though texas chainsaw Massacre movie become cult hit in usa in 1974 leading to hundreds of such movies, even in US, it is rare.
In 1959, Bimal Roy gave us the timeless classic 𝘚𝘶𝘫𝘢𝘵𝘢. Besides Roy’s masterful direction and splendid performances by the cast, the film featured some memorable music composed by Sachin Dev Burman. Among them was the evergreen 𝘑𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘪 𝘫𝘪𝘴𝘬𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘺𝘦,soulfully sung by the Talat Mahmood, picturised on Sunil Dutt.
Interestingly, the iconic telephone sequence was not Bimal Roy’s idea. It was Sachin Karta who suggested it, drawing inspiration from an incident in 1937. While in Darjeeling, he received a trunk call from his friend in Calcutta, filmmaker Sukumar Dasgupta. During that conversation, Sachin Karta sang a newly composed tune for the director’s upcoming film.
Much like so many of his compositions, "Jalte Hain Jiske Liye" has transcended generations, retaining its charm and emotional appeal even after all these years.
Remembering the legendary Sachin Dev Burman on his death anniversary.
This historic foreword by Rabindranath Thakur for the first edition of Sukumar Ray's "Pagla Dashu" is a remarkable tribute. Tagore celebrates Ray's rare genius: a scientific, disciplined mind that created exquisitely structured absurdities and pure humour (অবিমিশ্র হাস্যরস)
